Hey Denise!! I'm not joining this thread because we're done with just our twins. But I wanted to pop in. Denise, are you crazy? Just kidding. You will have your hands full with another baby after your twins. I can't imagine it!! I'm having so much fun with my twins now. So you just weaned them off BFing, huh? I'm starting to wean them. But it makes me so sad. Tyler just got a tooth and he start biting me....and they are starting to reject me frequently. So I guess it's time.

Good luck to you!!! And to the rest of you as well. And big congrats to Vicky!

Thanks Denise and Kristia

Denise - I got my period when Ollie was 8 months old - I was still breast feeding but I think it's completely different for everyone - I have heard of people starting again at 3 weeks after they gave birth.

Hi all

I had a miscarriage yesterday so that's that. Not sure what to do now. I am hoping to speak to my consultant today for advice. Feeling very miserable and silly as I stupidly got my hopes up that it would all be okay when I should have waited till much further on before letting my mind wander onto names and birth dates etc. You'd think I'd know better by now! Hope everyone else is okay. Vicky

Vicki, I'm so sorry to hear this.

And I think its very natural to get excited about a pregnancy, especially when we work so hard to get there.

Its just doubly hard if it doesn't work out. I've been there too, and I know how bruised your heart must be feeling.

Hugs and prayers.

Vicky

I just wanted to add my hugs - I'm so sorry to hear your news, and as Denise says you have every right to get excited - with everything we go through to get there, just because it's natural second time round doesn't mean it's any less important or exciting.

Fingers crossed and loads of love and hugs.

Hi Denise, Little P & Teacher Tam

Thanks so much for kind thoughts. It really helps. I'm trying to be rational about the whole thing - it's so strange how emotionally attached you can get to a baby when you only knew about it for a week before it left. Crazy. I am now waiting for my consultant to call me back so we can talk about starting my FET again. I now feel desperate to be pregnant again as soon as possible. I'm sure I'll have to wait a couple of months at least.
I'm also worried now that I'm more likely to have a miscarriage in the future.

Little P - how great to hear from you - haven't seen you around for ages - I got pregnant just a couple of months after you last time. I hope your little one is well - is it Amelia? I seem to remember thinking what a lovely name.

Love Vicky

Hi Zizzy - I was told to wait a year before trying again but I think the advice varies.

Hi Princess - we were pregnant at the same time last time - I remember you. I hope I can start again Sept/Oct - I am STILL waiting for my consultant to call me. Ggrrrr.

It's my birthday today - feel SO completely unbirthdayish - which is good as I haven't planned anything so would only be disappointed if I was really in the mood!

Hope evertone else is doing okay. Vicky

Hi ladies,
I too am trying for #2. I have done IVF three times with the third one working. We have a beautiful little 18 month old boy. We are now currently on our 2WW for hopefully #2.

Hi,
I've had 2 ICSI treatments and both were successful.
I waited such a long time after having my DD because i didnt want to go thru treatment again and i felt i should be greatful for my DD. Eventually the pain of wanting another child was unbearable so we decided to have one go at ICSI and luckily it worked.
In all honesty my only regret is not doing it sooner.
My children are fantastic and my family is complete. If you have any thoughts about wanting to try again then go for it as your chances of IVF working a second time are higher if its worked once.
Good luck to everyone.

Hi nanny bear - love your forum name! GOOD LUCK - how exciting. I am not starting next cycle now till beginning of October - seemd like a LONG time.

Susie - what a lovely positive post - it's so lovely to hear that it's easier the 2nd time around!

I have just had some mad news from the Hospital - I had written to ask them to look more closely at my recent HSG result as I had managed to get pregnant naturally which I had been told would be almost virtually impossible (they were looking at womb not tubes as I had a cesaerean - so checking for scarring)- anyway - they just wrote back and said that my right fallopian tube looks clear - they are both supposed to be completely blocked! I have had an HSG before and it didn't clear anything so I don't know how how this has happended. I realise it might only be temporary so I think we will have one go naturally and then still go for FET.

Okay back to work. Vicky

Hi Mandy

It's so hard to know what to do isn't it? - I have just been told that at the moment my right fallopian tube which is meant to be blocked looks clear!! I miscarried whilst half way through a cycle of IVF last month which is how I found this out. Now I don;t know whether to try naturally and hope it has stayed clear or risk an ectopic or it not happening at all. I don;t know!

I have been told by lots of people that it is easier to get pregnant the next time so maybe you should give it 3 months or so naturally and see if things have sorted themselves out - since I told a few people about my tube I have heard all sorts of stories about how the body changes in pregnancy and can right previous problems.
