Hey Guys
We are at a campsit (that I found) that has internet. Now that is what I am talking about! This is my type of "camping". Anyhow things are going well for us. We are getting used to camping in an RV and we did have a learning curve with hooking up the electric and sewer and stuff.

Steph
I know that you are so excited about having a boy. I am so happy about that for you. I am thrilled. I really am thrilled....I have been shopping like crazy. I know what you mean about waiting tho I really do. I am so thrilled to be 17 weeks today!!! WOW it really seems like yesterday that I was waiting until I was at least 12 weeks. Here we are already 17 weeks...

Mattie
I am going to be working that same shift and I am really looking forward to it so that I will be home during the week with the children. That is great. I also used a home day care before my mom helped out with the kids and I loved it over a commercial center. Congrats on your Girl! YEAH!!!

Jovigal
That is wonderful for you to get a free sneak peek at your GIRL!!!! Yippie! That is so exciting.

Rikirees
That is so great about your doing so well. I wish you good luck on your cerclage. I can totally understand you being supersticious about things. I would be expecially in your situation. I am so sorry about the loss of your boys and i am so hoping that you have a healthy baby at Christmas!!!!

Malinka I was never told that I needed it or had to do it. As far as I know I don't think they have mentioned it yet.

Steph, I really didn't like that US, she was like a robot and at the end she gave 3 lousy pics of my adorable babies, face shots. The whole US this time was a torture. And at the end she had to throw that genetic counselingline, what a %%%ch

Malinka - I'm sorry we had one like that as well. She was such a **tch, We told her during the sono that it was the first time we heard the babies heartbeat and she put it on and took it right back off and kept going, DH and I was both real pissed. I told her that I was uncomfortable and she didn't act like she gave a damn about anything but getting done. I hope that your next appt goes much better.

hi all:
I had a recheck of my cervix today and for the first time in ages we kinda got good news. The cervix THICKENED since last week (the demised baby is finally re-absorbing). Dr. did confirm I am hyperstimulating (right ovary has over 30 folicles in there!) but that the swollen ovary seems to be holding the cervix in place. I was told to come for a recheck in 2 weeks! I have never been told to come back in two weeks! In 2 weeks I will be over 20 weeks and that much closer to viability!! I am feeling optimistic for the first time in a long time.
I went to my OB and she ordered like 500 blood tests, some of which are genetic testing. I am not worried though, as I had lots done before I was married (I had eye cancer as a baby and I wanted to make sure I wasnt a carrier of the gene).
My2: Do you have an update on your cerclage?
IVF/ICSI 3/07 Froze All 36 eggs
FET 5/07 BFP; DD born early (26 weeks) 10/07
IVF/ICSI 8/09 Froze all 30 eggs
FET 11/09 BFP! TWINS from just 1 frostie! YIKES.
20 Frosties left

Good morning all...it's a rainy day in Jersey, but feeling quite energetic today, I like 2nd trimester best so far!

My2Lnt- Congrats on the boy......so exciting. Sorry your last U/S was so sucky, so far we've been lucky.

TansRN- Out of work yet???? WOW a campsite with intrenet, whenever I go I'm lucky to get a bathroom.

Wannabeone- I'm the other way around, isn't the west coast wonderful, I miss my mountains.

mdterry- that's great that you can work from home, hopefully I can get something started at home, I have a few ideas, we'll see what works.

Jovigal- Congrats on the girl....the boys are getting a little out numbered, we have 2 more weeks still to find out. DH is gettting very impatient.

Rikirees- so glad to hear from you and things are going well..so deserved! You won't know what to do with yourself waiting 2 weeks for an appointment.

Malinka- Genetic counseling is not mandatory. If you are concerned about something in particular it is a good idea but you should never feel pressured. With my age and MC history we wanted to ensure I wasn't a carrier of anything, but other than that you shouldn't need to have it done, it'll just scare you unneccessarily.

As for me, I've been busy at work and only able to lurk periodically, but I'm always thinking about you all!

Noodle - Glad to hear that things are going well with you and baby.

Rikirees - Nothing yet I go on Tues the 28th crossing fingers that cervix has stayed the same. I'm glad you finally got a ray of hope with the good news it about time huh. Just think we are all getting closer to that viable time. I told DH I will rest and relax a little more on Nov.7th when I turn 28 weeks. I hope that your next appt goes well.

Will check in later hope you all have a great day.

noodle, I didn't even think about GC before that stupid US tech threw it in our face. I am jewish and we did jewish panel ( blood test), it came negative, thanks god, other then that I don't know why would she even say anything at all??? Anyways, I called my OB, and they say that they offer GC starting at 37, and me being 28, he doesn't think it is nessacery at all. I wonder if she saw something on u/s? Perenatalogist who saw pics after she was done, said everything looks fine.

Rikirees I am glad that everything is fine!

Hi Ladies,

It's been a while since I've posted. Been dealing with a lot of stuff with my mom as it's been 2 months since my Dad passed away. I don't have computer access when I'm at her house. Plus for some reason I have not been getting email updates when you lovely ladies post. I'm glad to be back!

Well we are doing good here. Our Level II came out great and we are having another healthy Baby Girl! DH is a little bummed that it's not a boy since this is our last attempt at having a child. He's not really into this pregnancy now since he has his own feelings to deal with in not having a son. I was saddened as well since I knew how much he wanted a boy. I'm hoping he will get past this and be there for us as we go into the second half of the pregnancy. Thank God she is healthy and my pregnancy is going very smoothly.

I hope you are all doing very well. Looking forward to everyone's future updates. Sending many blessings to all of you!

Christine

Hey chums
A quick check in before I head out to the mall of america to do some damage!

Christine
So glad to hear from you...I am sure your DH will change when he holds her. It is so hard for the guys...She will look up at him and he will melt!

Rikirees
So glad that you are doing well! That is great news....really good news. My friend had to have her baby at 22 weeks and she is fine. She got Eclampsia and had to be delivered right away. It is amazing what they can do. Hang in there that is not that far away and then you can feel a little tiny bit better. Then every day will be meaningful in the development of the lungs and such...that is wonderful. Restores your hope doesnt it?

Hey are you guys feeling any major kicking yet? Just wondering. I am feel flutters mmore and more regular but no big kicks yet...just wondering if that comes at 20 weeks or what? What are you feeling>?

Tanya - hope ya don't do too much damage ha ha We don't wanna be watching the news and hear about a preggo lady going shopping crazy at the mall of america ha ha.

Christine - Glad to hear all is well with you and baby. I do understand this is our last to and I can only imagine how DH would have taken the news of another girl.

Well I did yet another emergency appt. today. This little guy is making me work at this pregnancy. I came home last night and had a moderate amount of brown blood (Sorry TMI!!!)What a Bday gift. So I called Dr office and they put me in with an appt today just to see what was going on. Well during my sono I was told that I have a low lying placenta and that was probably the reason and to just take it easy and watch to make sure the flow does not get any heavier.

Hope you all are doing well.
