RMSM, I am so sorry...there are pioneers and troopers on this board who, like you, have been through this before and eventually end up with a positive test...in the interim re: your next IVF journey, take the time to do something for yourself.

Get a personal trainer to work off the stress/ take a long weekend alone or with your husband or a sister or best friend...or just sit in a heap and cry or read a book...I am very sorry ...

We went to CCRM, Dr. Schoolcraft, in Colorado. He's # 1 in the country...our doctor here only gave us a 20%, if that, chance (male infertility, my age)...Schoolcraft? With donor egg, it was at 76%. He's THE MAN! This was our first try at IVF and I'm pregnant (for now!) with potentially twins.

It is expensive. Worth every penny.

Check him out...he's great!

BEST TO YOU ALL

Vlada: My HCG yesterday? 1680.
GULP
I am not going to go too cukoo until my Post Labor Day ultrasound (6 weeks)...well, 6 LMP...I hate how the weeks are Called...kind of fake...

Vlada, I will be keeping my thoughts positive for you (no pun intended, then again...can't hurt!)...really great on the HPTS FOR YOU!

Feeling OK...got a bit queasy today but I do think it's too early for that (I am hoping to be a rarity and not get morning sickness...HA! Good luck on that one)

Heidi, congratulations! Good for you...
OK, am I missing someone here? I thought there was another BFP...forgive me...I'm so behind on work

Hi Girls...

Good to here from you Vlada and Heidi74 - thanks... I hope all is going will with all of you and your babies/new cycles.

Well, I POAS again this morning and the BFP line was darker but I have been having AF cramps almost all day and just now (4:30 my time) I wiped and there was pink. I am so scared that it could be my pregnancy vanishing!!! The doctors haven't checked my bw numbers (estr and prog) since Thursday (today is Tuesday) so I quick gave myself the 1cc of PIO in case. I DID have pink bleeding at this EXACT same time (day past LMP) with my son 14 years ago BUT I wasn't on hormones then though I did wind up needing prog supp through week 15 due to LP defect. What do you girls think? Am I losing it? the baby?

Thanks - Cocoa

Thanks Vlada... I did call the RE and her IMMEDIATE (and I mean immediate) response was "that's normal" like why am I calling her 45 minutes after hours on her pager??!!??? I still have cramping and low back pain but I did read that the low back pain is very common very early in preg with the extra hormones loosening the discs (yeah... even THIS early). OK, so great! since I have 2 buldging discs and it makes it worse. My cervix feels pinchy too. Anyone been THERE with THAT?!? OK, so I'm being weirded out but I have my "official" BETA tomorrow and I'm sckitzin! RE said to take it easy tonight SO I am and have been on the couch for HOURS already...

OH, and personally I think Woodcliff is looking at multiples too... :P

Cocoa,
I know what you mean with doctors, we are paying them fortune but God forbid to call them after hours. I too had a horrible lower back pain right after the trasfer for 4 days , then it got a little better and then got much worse, it is much better now, but man, it did hurt like crazy.
I hope you will feel better!!!!

Cocoa...so happy you called the nurse, what a relief for you...my nurse told me spotting or bleeding is just what happens with some women...
And, hey, like Vlada said, you're paying a bundle.

I do NOT hesitate to call morning or night to my nurse...in fact, I communicate with her daily either via phone or email...and have since we started. Hell, I got so many mixed messages initially that I will ONLY deal with the top nurse. It's been great, and I just LOVE her! It has paid off, as there have been no missed cues re: the medication. (If I screw up, it's my own darn fault, she has been clear as a bell.)

Ohmigod...what is a normal HCG? Er, for a singleton?
I felt seasick today...egads. Bought ginger.
OK, Vlada, only 48 more hours, if that...With you, lady! YOU may end up with multiples as well ...
g'night everyone, hang in there!

Yes I agree... i go for my blood test tommorrow. However Im going to do the HPT tonight as I cant stand waiting for the phone call to give me the news... At least i will have some indication. i think it is a no as I dont have any symptoms and I know after doing 11 transfers that its not right.
RMSM wrote:Hi everyone! I'm new to this wonderful website and hope to join in the support network here. I am currently in the midst of that long 2 week wait after doing my second IVF. With a long history of endo., I was never a candidate for IUI because of tube blockage and 2 prior surgeries that left a ton of scar tissue (so I've been told) and jumped right in to IVF about a year and a half ago. This time around, they removed 11 eggs, of which 8 fertilized. They implanted 5 embyros 5 days ago, 2 of which were 8 celled and looked very good. I'm 34, DH is 35. Trying to stay positive, but going through peaks of hope and peaks of doubt regularly. I would love some kind of reassuring sign that it worked, but so far just some minor cramping since the day of transfer. I don't know how to lay low and not stress my body out, but not think about this at the same time. So I'm hoping this board can keep me positive because I need that desperately right now. These are the longest 2 weeks of my life!!!

Woodcliff,
I think with singleton you should have been around 500 range, so twins are more than likely for you, lady!!!!!
I POAS today again on the digital, God, i did make those companies a lot of money, and it said pregnant after just 10 or 15 seconds, that was my last test, tomorrow is my blood work and i will find out, i guess, early afternoon, scaryyyyyyy!!!!!
Lewi,
11 trasfers wow, that is a lot!! so you had 11 IVFs or you counted your IUIs as well?
Good luck with you test !!!!!
