Eve, I am so so pleased to hear about Abigail. I expect you won't read this for sometime, you'll be enjoying every second with your precious daughter. Its been months since I've been on (hence the late congratulations) Benjamin is growing fast, hes more than doubled his birthweight and will soon be 6mths old. Hes enjoying a varied diet of homemade vegetable and fruit purees and mummys milk of course. Every day he brings tears to our eyes - we just cannot express how much happiness he has brought us already. After 8 long years we can't believe hes really ours and we don't have to give him back, we feel so lucky.
We want to see piccys and definately get the lie detector, if Abigail meets Benjamin they'll be up to no good I'm certain - he already attracts the ladies, hes sooo gorgeous...
For all mum and dads to be I recommend Gina Fords contented baby book and her book of weaning (when you get to that stage) Its fantastic - I know its not for everyone and you need to ignore the bits like 'eat toast and juice at 08.03' but the general eating / sleeping routines have worked like a dream - Benjamin only ever had 1 night feed at 02.30 and he dropped that at 6wks when he slept from 10pm to 7am and since he was 5mths hes been sleeping through from 7pm to 7am. It never stopped us doing anything as as long as you follow it most of the time the odd couple of days lapse doesn't make a difference.
Love to all of you who remember me and those who don't
Wendy, Chris and Benjamin xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
