Hi ladies, have cheekily just put myself on your list. Am currently ging through a medicted m/c so please forgive me for not mentioning all here, although I recognise some of you (Anna, jenni babes just to mention 2).

so happy that at last such a thread has been started and kept alive, well done. Am happy to support answer questions etc. We are disappointed by the blighted ovum, but never saw the fetus, and know its caused by early recognition of genetic defect so the body reabsorbs the baby, his means it was never meant to be, and that cant be controlled in advance (has nothing to do with our first m/c). I have been on an amazing site called "misdiagnosedmiscarriage.com" where women who conceived naturally dont find out there is no baby anymore untl 10 or even 15 week as this is their first scan! So we knew this was coming from 5 weeks, so our grieving is done. fresh donor cycle planned Nov 07 in Ukraine, at ISIDA.

Joshi is in the meantime one year old and nearly walking, he is the spitting image of his dad, and as much my son as if it was my egg, so dont worry girls, yull be amazed how ok it is. Our donor had brown eyes and brown hair (like me), Joshi is dark blonde and has his dads eyes, grey green, so hey, throw backs happen.

Kelly- Sorry to hear about your dh sperm fragmentation

,we to have just found out that dh sperm has abnormalities and now we are having to use both donor egg and sperm. This is the best forum to be on as everybody understands what we are going through and have been a big support to me

. Good luck with your FET!

Kim- Glad you phoned RE and they have put your mind at rest about the spotting

I am still making the most of my nieces and sister, my dh has only seen me for 10 min in the last 3 days

,but he knows I dont get to see them as often as I would like and he doesn't mind

It looks like you've had Carolyns book bug, let us know if they are any good and happy reading!

Carolyn- Hope you got my email. I am hoping that the scan will go ahead on tuesday

but they wont do it unless I get the form faxed from my GP in the morning, so fingers crossed!

I have set my heart on having acu, I just hope our ET will not be between the 7-11th but if it is there is nothing I can do about it , I'll just have to wait and see. I hope you get book 3 soon. Are you getting excited now 27 days to go!!

JenB- If everything goes ok scan will be on Tuesday 28th.
I am glad you had a great time at the wedding and that you enjoed the time with your friend

, I bet you had loads of fun catching up.

Sorry to hear that you had an infection, what meds have they put you on? Will your GP prescribe them for you?

WELCOME...BIG J...Good of you to join us ...sorry to hear about your blighted ovum, i take it that would have been Joshi's sibling...Now you have same donor or differant donor???? We looked at going to ISIDA but unfortunalty the travel is complicated from Scotland, so at this stage we are off to IM..It's soooooo good to have you on board ...i hope you don't mind but have moved youon to awaiting tmt above anna... good luck with your nrxt BFP at ISIDA x x x

Gill hope you get scan sorted soon...if a problem can you not go earlier ( a day or so ) to IM and do it there??? My meds are antibiotics strong ones 750 x2 a day...think the auto immune prob i have gets in the way and infections are easily embedded in me. anyway i am on them for 2wks and hope that does the trick... x x

jen1d- we are thinking of you...Et today x x ( well it's 1.30 in the morning so you are 2.30am now) hope your sleeping well hun yu need your strength today for carrying those embies x x

Her donor is 22 and very cute and pretty according to her doctor!!!!

They have 2 excellent embies back on board and 4 really good frosties.

She is very happy as you might well imagine.

Will do a proper catch up with everyone tomorrow.

Big J - WELCOME - It is so nice to have you and Anna with us so that we can ask you all the tough questions. Loved reading what you said about Joshua. So sorry that you have had to go through another m/c.

Can I ask why you decided to move from IM to ISIDA after your 1st overseas treatment? I have looked at both clinics and it is hard to make the decision on the right place to go. Guess that they are all good and the ones where we get the right result will be in our hearts forever. May be we will be cycling around the same time as my 1st appointment is just over 3 weeks away and I desperate to get in a cycle before Xmas

JB - sorry that you have an infection but so much better that they find out aboit it now rather than further down the track. Glad that you had a good time at the wedding and with your freind. Have another lovely weekend babe. You are really close to getting going now. Glad that you found an acu who can help you. I find a massive help

. So pleased for you. Really hope that the acu helped you chill a little bit before and after. Cannot wait to hear all about the quality of your embies - they sounded awesome - and also about whether acu lady was nice and how the actual transfer went. We need full detail when you are back home. Hope that you get a great nights sleep and then a safe journey home. Massive hugs babe

As for me, called ARGC today and our notes are all copied and ready for collection so we can pick up on Tuesday and have everything other than our blood groups. We will go back to the gp and re-request this week if they cannot sort out then we will just let IM know that we will need it done when we get there. We will mail everything to IM next week and take a copy with us of everything just in case. Having acu on Tuesday. Not seen him since my last -ve and have been working with him for 15 months now so could be both emotional and helpful. He always has a good perspective for me.

Not much else to report. Having my dh's family over for a bbq tomorrow evening so hope we get some sunshine. I am having my hair cut tomorrow to get me ready for Barcelona as I never like it when it is first cut. Then dh and I will just chill out on Sunday and Monday. Trying not to look at my ticker all the time and hoping then it will count down more quickly

Hi

Hope you are all well, I am still at my parents house with my family enjoying spending time with my nieces

. The weather has been fantastic

, we went out on the boat today and I've managed to burn my arms! (such a silly thing to do

)The girls loved it, the youngest thinks that the houses along the front where we live look like Balamorey from sea (the kids tv show not sure how to spell it

)
I think having them here has kept my mind off tmt and thats a good thing as Im such a worrier

sorry I've been so quiet, work has been really busy and because I have been trying to be good and not lug my computer home every night I haven't managed to catch up for a few days. It sounds like we're all getting there and I'm so happy that I'm not the only one on the 2WW now - Jen1 welcome to crazy land and a massive congrats on being PUPO, it feels good doesn't it?!! hope you're feeling well and are managing to relax.

BigJ - you are proof that it works and so I am sorry happy that you joined us. After so many disappointments I need the occassional kick to prove that it does work and we can get there!! I am very sorry to hear that you are having to suffer another m/c and wish you a speedy recovery and all the luck in the world with the next tmt.

Jen babes - thanks for the baby dust and thoughts. test date is Monday at 8:30 my time; they'll call us somewhere between 1 and 3 - that will be the longest few hours of my life!! I've taken the day off work as I know that I will be useless and I want to be with DH when we get THE call.

To everyone else have a lovely weekend, the sun is shining here in Oregon and I'm heading to the supermarket - fun times!!

I will let you all know on Monday and with any luck lead the gang to multiple BFP's!!!

Knew that you must be testing soon. Hope that being busy has acted as a bit of a distraction for you. So hope that you will be getting us off to a truck load of BFPs.
