Sarah

don't worry - I was exactly the same!! You probably do feel the odd twitch/butterfly feeling which feels a bit like your stomach moving after a meal (well, it did for me!). With hindsight I think this was the babies moving.

I didn't really feel anything definite until about 23 weeks. Like you, I was desperate to feel something but it just didn't happen. I'm 27 weeks now and have definite movement though still not the rib kicking feelings that some people have already - much for gentle.

Hope you're doing OK!

LOL Helen xx

Hi Sarah

I didn't feel any movement from my two until just past 21 weeks so try not to worry. And as Helen says, I think twin movements are a bit different. I never had kicks big enough to see and it was very rare that they moved in a way that DH could feel. I certainly never had the 10 movements a day that the midwife says that you're supposed to check for. But they were definitely moving loads 'cos we saw them on all the scans so it must just have been lack of space.

Jules

Hiya Sarah

I was lucky and felt my babies at 16 weeks, but was told I'd feel them earlier as it wasn't my first pregnancy.

At first it just feels like a nerve twitching in your tummy and then gradually becomes a sort of flutter. I'm sure you will notice it very soon!

At 31 weeks my bump is 'alive' on and off all day (and night). Sometimes the kicks are quite painful if it's twin 1 who's quite low down. I can often see a foot/elbow/knee or something protrude and shift around my bump. You've got all this to look forward to!

Take care,

Luv Rachel X
