QUICK UPDATE.........I TESTED TODAY:

OK - here's the deal..........my beta number is 15......ideally - they like/want to see atleast 50.......technically ---- anything between 5-50 is considered BFP............so they want me to continue all meds......and come back sat morning for round 2 bw --- if it double and/or increases dramatically -- that will be a GOOD SIGN.........if it doesn't really do much/go anywhere ---- it will have been considered a chemical preg.....

I NEED LOTS & LOTS OF STICKY BABYDUST!!!!!!

lots of love to all...........i'll check back in a.m.

Hey everyone. Well, my ER went well this morning. They got 9 eggs, so I hope they call tomorrow and at least 1/2 or more fertilize. :?: :?: :!: I'm on pins and needles and keeping all fingers and toes crossed!! I would appreciate any baby dust being sent my way. :P :P

We'll know more over the next 2 days but it's looking like Monday for the ET. And then the DREADED 2ww... That will be the worst part of all this, I think.  EVIL

I hope everyone else is doing well out there.

ICSI GIRL - hang in there for tomorrow. You have been in my thoughts and I hope the news tomorrow is a beta with a higher #. Wishing you the very best!!! :D :D

chriss - I have to do my first prog shot tonight and am slightly nervous. Does it burn? How bad is it? Wishing you the very best and STICKY STICKY BABY DUST for your transfer!!!

yarnista - Good luck on your upcoming EC. I had mine this morning and it really sounds more scary than it actually is. You go to sleep wake up, are a little sore but the nurse(s) take great care of you and you are discharged soon thereafter.

bernie01 - How exciting for your upcoming ET! I wish you all the best. Keep us posted!!

For anyone I've forgotten
STICKY STICKY BABY DUST to all!!!

Talk to everyone soon.

Sounds like everyone's doing well I hope.
I went in for u/s this morning and the nurse said I sure have impressive ovaries. Anyways the biggest is 15 down to 10 so she said my EC probably won't be until Wednesday next week. I will know better tomorrow. Of course Wed. is the first day of school. I was all teary eyed last night worrying about everything but am feeling better today. I went by school hung up some posters and that helped me.
I'm having a really hard time sleeping for the past four nights. The nurse said it's probably due to my estrogen levels. I'm waiting for a phone call back from the naturopath to see what she says. I never ever have trouble sleeping so it's a little upsetting!
I'm thinking about all of you! :) :) :) :)

yarnista: sounds like you DO have impressive ovaries!!! ya know-- is too bad you don't live in MI where the state LAW is that school year doesn't start til after labor day..... :? either way --- you'll get thru it.... you'll be fine --- do you know how strong all of us are out here????? if we can do this honey ---- we can do ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!! (once again --- this is why us women have to deal w/ the child bearing stuff ---- cuz men can't handle it!!!!) 8)

i also have never in my life had a problem sleeping ---- UNTIL i started all my meds for this..........i still have yet to really figure out if actually the meds or just my mental state of mind --- cuz when i DO finally get to sleep --- i'm dreaming really actively -- does that sound stupid??? i just mean that all of my intermost thoughts and discussions and so on are all somehow incorporated into my dreamworld and its been driving me INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i've chalked it up to coming w/ the territory..... along with a lot of other things  good luck on getting some info from the naturopath!!!

STAY STRONG! :D

Hi Girls

Angie fantastic news, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your count keeps on climbing. Big hugs to you.

Chriss good luck for tomorrow, will be thinking of you.

Julianna, looks like we both go for transfer Monday, good luck:-

Bernie, how did ET go today, hope all is well, thinking of you chum.

And me………….. Well thankfully all went well today. Was up at silly o clock, otherwise known as 0445 hrs and arrived at the clinic 1 hour early! We didn’t go to theatre until 1000 hrs so there was a fair bit of hanging around and unfortunately plenty of time for me to get nervous. Dodgy tummy eek , thank god for the wet wipes I packed.

Opted to be fully sedated declined to watch things in action, but DH sat with the embryologist and watched everything, says the made it look so easy. Anyway, they collected 4 eggs and later informed us that they are all mature enough to be injected, so we are really pleased. They said they will call tomorrow to let us know how fertilisation went, so we are anxious to hear.

Sorry so late in posting. DH wanted to stop at B&Q on the way home as he was so tired thought he may fall asleep at the wheel. Then we had to stop off and get some milk and stuff and a dvd for tonight to chill with. By the time I got home, I was exhausted, I left DH to put the shopping away, lay down on the couch and next thing you know, I woke up it was 2030 hrs. So I am sitting with my some toast which DH made for me and am about to snuggle up in bed with a movie. Sending all of you big hugs, love you all.

Hi everyone!

Chelle, can't wait to hear fertilization results. I'll be thinking of you.

ICSI, good luck girl!

Yarnista, you do have impressive ovaries.

Julianna, sounds good! You are sure to get a bunch that fertilize. Progesterone shot was no big deal and believe me I was freaking out about it. I barely felt the needle go in. The most discomfort was after the shot. My muscle ached a bit. Remember to rub the area in circles to distribute the oil. It's really not bad, you'll be fine.

Bernie, how was ET?

My ET is set for tomorrow. So far embies look good. One is really good and the other is more average. Best wishes to you all ladies-chriss

Fab News

Post by Chelle »

Well I have taken my all important phonecall and I can't belive it. All four of my eggs have fertilised. I know this is a fantastic result with such a small quantity of eggs as my mum's friend had 11 and only 5 out of the eleven fertilised so I am so pleased.

They can't tell me much about the quality yet until the divide over the next couple of days, but they don't see there being any problems so I am booked in for transfer on Monday at 08.30 hrs again. Another early morning for me, but I dont care, at least I won't be pacing around waiting to go.

Bernie, any news for you, I'm thinking of you.

Updates and wishes...

ICSI Girl: Very happy to hear the news..good luck!!! I hope you hear on Saturday and not Monday .....

Chriss: Wow! 2 to transfer! What a tense and uncertain process this has been. I am so happy for you! The odds have turned out in your favor... may the 2ww and final outcome be equally successful!

Chelle: Good luck - 4 fertilized!!!!

Yarnista: We need to rub shoulders a little.. Amazing! I am intrigued to know how many you end up retrieveing....

Best wishes and baby dust to everyone on this message board. You have all been so supportive during my 2WW last month. I know I have dissappeared a while, but I have been here in spirit... checking in on my favorite boards regularly.

DH and I have decided to go for October. I start BCP in 7-10 days, after AF arrives. We will be going to Switzerland and Italy in Sept beginning - hope that will recharge my batteries and get us both mentally geared up to go through this rollercoaster again.

Thanks again for your understanding! I needed the small break from IVF thoughts... (like that is possible  ). Wish all of you BBBFPs!!!

Hello ladies!
I'm so happy for you Chelle that is wonderful news. Chriss I hope ET went well today and those embies stick like glue!julianna26, don't worry you'll get through the 2ww, I know what you're saying about it being evil thought.
Observer, you are a very strong person to go through it all again and I hope your vacation does do you wonders. We went to Florida after my failed cycle in March and it did help alot.

I went in this morning, everything looks good. I feel like crap because I'm still not sleeping. I picked up a few remedies on the way home that hopefully will help. The doc said my EC will most likely be Wed. or 10% chance on Tues. depending on my bloodwork today. I think I have to call in sick to work on Mon. because I have to go in again. DH thinks I should just go late to my prof. development but my supervisor (not the principal) is a real jerk so I'd really rather avoid that.
The doc surprised me this morning and said we'll do a 3 day this time because we are freezing and maybe put 3. I understood that they couldn't do more than 2 in our state, maybe it's different if it's after a failed cycle. So that's exciting news. I feel so terribly cranky and bloated up. I hope all of you are well. I'm going to try to get some rest today before a party with my girlfriends. Love to all. :) :) :) :) :)

Well, we got the news this morning. 3 eggs fertilized. :P :P :P I had hoped for more, but I am pleased with what we have!!!

Waiting ON PINS AND NEEDLES to hear the report tomorrow morning on how they are growing and when our ET will occur on Monday.

I really have been pretty OK through this whole process. Pretty relaxed through the shots, the blood work, the ultrasounds, have really kept up the PMA... but the last 2 days have truly just taken it out of me!
I'm completely FREAKING OUT...

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed... I just have to try and keep up the PMA. I'm going to try and relax with a warm bath and curl up with a book. Maybe watch a movie later and try and take my mind off it.

If I'm this anxious now, I can't imagine how awful this 2ww is going to be!!!!

chelle - Thanks for the good luck wishes!!! Same back atcha! Sounds like we can go through the dreaded 2ww together. I'll need someone to lean on, that's for sure. I don't want to cave in and do any HPTs!!! Easier said than done, I'm sure...

ICSI GIRL - I can't wait to hear your news! If you sign on, let me know if you will find out today or if you have to wait until Monday! Wishing you all the luck, STICKY BABY DUST and PMA possible!!!
