LisaPa- Thanks for updating the information for everyone. When I saw my name and the words "due date" I got a little teary-eyed. In my life those words have only been used regarding someone else. All of the sudden this BFP became a little more real for me. Maybe it will completely sink in when we go for U/S. Still not scheduled for that yet, but now that I know CroElla saw the heartbeat, I am getting more anxiouse to go!
Louise- Congrats on your BFP! How many embryos did you transfer? Have you had your beta checked yet? I did b/w for the second time today to see how the beta increased 48 hours later.
Kate- I can't wait to hear how your scan goes tomorrow. Did one take? Could it be two? Either way, you'll see your baby for the first time!!!

my due date is 23rd april and donno my ultrasound yet......as they have posted me letter on tuesday and i have not recieved it yet.....lisa pa do u know if i can do something to avoid nausea as i am vomiting in the morning and evenings and its hard to work ... my nurse just told me u are preg and then come for ultrasound ...date is on letter....i have no idea what to do...what to avoid during pregnancy and what blood test i should do....i hav thryoid and i have heard that tyroid can raise during first trimester....they already stopped my progestrone on day 13th .....i mean after 2 weeks wait period.....lol gosh so many things to see......if anyone has any guidelines for me...i would really appreciate that....i dont even eat properly...if someone knows something vegetarian food which is good for baby...let me know.....thanks and god bless

Just thought I'd let you know they couldn't find a heartbeat at the scan yesterday. 90% chance I will miscarry and a 10% chance the embie was hidden. Either way we have to wait a week for another scan when they will be able to see for sure, but it doesn't look good
Congrats to everyone, think I will stay off the boards for a while just so I can get my head sorted. Will let you know one way of the other next week - wish me luck, need every ounce of it!

Kate, I am sorry they did not find the heartbeat, but don't give up hope! I hear many stories of the embie's heartbeat not turning up for 8 weeks or longer. Good luck to you.
Mina, why did they take you off progesterone? Did they tell you? From what I understand, natural progesterone doesn't occur until you are at 10 weeks gestation, when the placenta kicks in and produces it. Ask your clinic why they stopped you so soon! That would concern me, so get a good answer and find out your P levels.
Mina...always have food in you...eat ginger (candied ginger) ... keep stashes of food on hand. I feel for you, you're around 3-5 days ahead of me and my bet is my nausea just hasn't started yet. I really feel for you!

So today's results... 11dp5dt is 1272!!!! I'm still a wreck because in my mushy mind I wanted it to be 10,000!!!! just to be safe... Crazy huh?!?! I think, no... I KNOW it's the hormones... I go in for yet MORE tests on Monday! I don't think I have any veins left to puncture...
So, if everything goes according to the human gestational plan I AM due 4/30/07 with a possibility of going earlier...
So...anyone still thinking twins? or does it sound hopeful for a single? Ok, Vlada and WC, go ahead tease.... it's ok...

Woodcliff--To reply to our asking mina why they took her off the progesterone they also took me off early it seems sometimes we produce enough on our own and if our numbers are high enough they will stop the meds and follow up with a blood test to see if you need to go back on it i have been off it for over a week and i feel great and my progesterone levals were fine after stopping every clinic does things diffrently beside the meds do have some nasty side effects .........
Mina -----As far as the morning sickness I started to eat 6 small meals a day and if it is bad when you wake up keep some crackers next to the bed and eat a few then get up slowly it should help you and as far as what you can or cant eat ...there is a book called what to eat when you are expecting BUY IT....it speaks of vegeterians and things you should be eating.. You need to watch your fish intake as well there are certian FISH you CANNOT eat at all...... Any questions PM ME .....Are you taking prenatal vitamins?

I am now napping in the afternoon when i can and i must say i used to be a compulsive cleaner WELL MY THAT HAS CHANGED........I am way too tired for that. as long as the sink is clean im happy these days. Going monday for my u/s and i cant wait......I thnk somewhere in my mind this is all a dream untill i see it on that screen. i will keep everyone posted. Hope everyone is well......
