Pregnant or Not Pregnant? That is the Question!

Hi, I am on the dreaded two week wait and I am so dispondant. I had ET on 15th August, due to test on 29th on Wednesday. (So far I have not done a HPT but have been tempted). I have had period like symptoms over the past 5 days really and also my lower back has had a real ache in it for a couple of days. Im absolutely convinced I am going to get my period. I have not had any bleeding yet. I normally get a couple of shows 4 or 5 days before my period is due (Period would be due on the 30th August if I get it). I am really confused and fearful of getting the dreaded curse. Whats the chances of being pregnant after these symptoms??

dont get worried at all.....i had period like symtoms too...exactly same like periods but it never came and i got bfp....i hope same for u.....donn get stressed...just relax and you will be fine.....

The 2 WW is hard...Try to relax as much as possible. I know it is hard. the evit HPT are not reliable at least for me they were niot. I tested negative the day i had my blood draw. well I am 33 weeks pregnant now. I had a lot of period like symptoms and convinced I was not pregnant and stopped my shots and all...Cause I knew. So hang in there....
The 29th I hope brings you all good things.

I had exactly the same experience. I gave in the day before my blood test for a home HPT and it was positive. I still feel like I am going to start every day. So all this is very normal. The back pain is a real key also. I had read that temperatures get elevated a little, so I took mine and yes it was elevated. Just rest and sleep when you get crampy. It helps.

I'm on the same schedule as you I go Wed for my BT. I have had the cramping on and off too. People say that's good, I'm still scared. I haven't taken a HPT, and as of now I do not plan on it. Too afraid of what it will say. I'm also having the Dr call my DH with the results. I'm too scared to hear him say NEGATIVE. [/img][/list][/list][/code]

I am on the same schedule too!!! I have my beta on Wed 8/29. I have cramps on and off. My boobs hurt for a little but they don't anymore. Who the heck knows if that means something or nothing.

Angela - I am tempted to take one, but....I will wait. I've heard so many stories of people's HPT's being negative then they get a positive beta. I just dont want to put myself through any unnecessary ups and downs. So I will wait...not patiently though

I am also testing tomorrow 29th! Let's post our results so we can either celebrate or provide support.
I' ve done ivf #1 BFN + OHSS
fet #1 2 blasts clinical preg BFN
ivf #2 3 embryos day 3 mild OHSS

I sure hope this works because I'm about all out of hope.

I will try to post my results tomorrow. The only reason I say try is because if i get a BFN tomorrow, I might be to devastated to write. I know I was that way the first time I got my BFN. But I hope this time is different. I hope and wish you all the best of luck and hope there are BFP posted tomorrow.

Well....I had my blood work and they will call me this afternoon. I am soooo nervous. I will post my results when I get them ladies. GOOD LUCK TO ALL......I hope for BFP's all around.

Hey Tricia, Me too I had my BW this morning. The anticipation is driving me crazy. I wish I could go out and do something to take my mind off it. But I can't, everytime I think of some place to go I say "no I'm not in the mood to do that". I just have to wait. I should get a response between 2-4pm. Best of luck to you.

Kangela - congrats!! Mine was negative . Was this your first time for IVF?? Im curious. This was my second time for IVF and Im not sure what I should do next.
