Croella, could you please tell us what your HCG levels were initially? The first, and then the 2nd one confirming the doubling?

I'm just curious (bet Cocoa is too!)...I have teased my hubby we may just have one big fat baby in there!!!

Have a terrific weekend, ladies!

as i feel too weak...waiting for my blood test on monday which will tell my iron levels glucose
and thyroid levels....then i will make my plan ..what to do instead of waiting for these
(i dont know) kind of people....lol i know i am being rude...but they have no idea how many
needles we have sticked in ur tummies ...thank god my hubby is very supportive....he is
cooking whatever i feel like eating...as i can only eat what is coming in my mind...if i

woodclif my levels were like this: 13th day after the embryo transfer it was 375; and then 17th day after was 2470...They considered those numbers high, and I have one baby. But, it may also mean that the pregnancy is solid:)

CroELLA...

Now just to have the numbers straight... was your ET a 3dt or a 5dt? Mine was a 5dt and on day 9pt my Beta was 485 and day 11pt it was 1272 meaning if I had a 3dt my 11pt would have been 485... Is that higher than your #'s?

WC...
Sorry... I forgot... did you have a 3dt or a 5dt? I keep thinking that my #'s seems really high but hey... I'm NOT complaining.

My bbs are larger and when I take off my bra boy! do they hurt. I feel nauseous in the evening and everytime I feel nothing I get worried that the baby is gone!!! I'm weird that way... My former doc (who did uterine and blood antibiotic therapy on me) wants me to come in for post-conception IV antibiotic therapy. He has gotten so many women pregnant and to full term who have a history of multiple chemical preg or M/C preg that I am considering this. I truly believe my uterus could still have had some pathogens and no preg (or chem) might have occured had I not gone through his process. He has two books and I read them both. He is in NYC and his name is Dr. Attila Toth - he is the kindest, gentilest sweetest most concerned doc I have EVER met. He loves helping women get pregnant with healthy babies. You can find him at fertilitysolution dot com if interested. I know it would help women who have unexplained IF or m/c...

Anyway, we all seem to be doing well... stay in touch!!

Much love,

Cocoa

Calm down Vlada your hCG level is perfectly fine darling :D Every pregnancy is different and though we can share our experience non of us can fully embrace and apply all of it....So my boobs were sore in the beginning and now they are not (just a bit larger)...I had cramps that use to wake me up in the middle of the night and lasted 4 to 6 minutes, and now I have some sporadic mild stretch-like cramping on each side of my uterus...
The most shocking change in my life happened the day when I started craving pizza (I hate pizza!!!!) and since I found out that I'm pregnant I had it 3 or 4 times (my hubby is having a blast because of it :D )

Cocoa we had a transfer on day 3.

I hope you girls are doing well...keep on sharing :D :D

Vlada! You are fine...when I asked my nurse what level of HCG she was looking for for my 1st blood test, she said anything over 50 would indicate a solid pregnancy. Yours sounds like a singleton, mine (and Cocoa's???) could be one big fat baby.

Cocoa, and Croella, I had a day 5 blastocyst transfer of 2 embryos...!!!

I am a tad confused, do I actually COUNT the day of EGG TRANSFER as Day 1 for Gestational pregnancy? ie: My date of transfer was Aug 3, on the 4th they told us we had 16 fertilized embryos...

Mina! Oh, I wish there were a nice health care professional for you...possibly, if it's paid by the state (universal health insurance) the care is not as personalized ... here in the States we pay big bucks for IVF, and I know for me, I demand answers to my questions, as I'm paying a lot...I think You Deserve The Same Respectful treatment, regardless of whether or not the state pays. Lucky for you, your husband sounds fabulous. You sure do sound preggers (sickness)...but I'd still demand progesterone levels from the medical people...it's important.

I go for one more blood test tomorrow...I just hope my Progesterone levels are good...!!!

See you all

Wondering...Cocoa, Vlada (as we're on around the same 'schedule')...any signs of morning sickness?

Oh, Cocoa, you did mention feeling nauseous at night...sorry for you!

I am fine...not nauseous, just tired.

BUT YESTERDAY I went to a baby shower, and I overdid it, ie: no nap, went grocery shopping and to a bookstore after the shower, talked way too much at the shower for 3.5 hours...

I slept almost 12 hours...so wiped out I could not fall asleep for an hour last night (that happens to me).

Lemme tell you, the Mommy at the shower? HUGE Belly (skinny everywhere else) at 8 months with ONE! Another lady? HUGE with One due in November.

OH ...I did not even feel preggers (Cocoa I get that same fear, if I'm not "feeling pregnant" that it's gone)...around these HUGE WOMENl.
WHAT WILL TWINS LOOK LIKE? OH I AM AFRAID.

OK, I am also not going to dwell on it, cuz until my 6 week U/S after Labor Day, until I hear heartbeats, it is not real...well, not really!!!

Pls. let me know your M/S symptoms, and when they started...

Hey Woodcliff,
I don't have any nosea at all, and in general no symptoms, I too need some kind of confirmation ( including morning sickness)that this baby indeed is developing. Well, i guess the best proof will hopefully be tomorrow with my blood work, i really hope for the best.

Vlada, I'll be thinking of you! I get my blood drawn tomorrow
as well for Prog. and Est. (And I asked my nurse to stick in another HCG draw, although she said the doc only cares about those first 2 draws, to make sure the numbers double!) I just want to know!

Luck to us both and us ALL

WC... Gestational pregnancy starts the day you ovulate - or in our cases the day the eggs are retrieved... It's about 2weeks after LMP though a lot of women who get preg naturally can ovulate anywhere from day 8 to day 20 so gest. preg is more difficult to determine for nat. preg.

I have been resting more than I usually do so I don't feel so pregnant but yesterday I cleaned the house in the AM and after 2 1/2 hours I had cramps and was slowing down. I was sooo tired when I finally got to sleep last night but I woke up early only to go back to sleep again for 4 more hours!!! So it all comes and goes, the nausea, exhaustion, cramping... I HATE it!!!! I guess we're all in for it until we at least see the HB (and how many we have in there - my DH thinks two). So, VLADA you are still in the multiples game here!!!!

I go in for my 3rd Beta and prog and est tomorrow in the morning. I hate the wait...

Love ya,

Cocoa
