Here's a question for you!! What music do you ladies have in mind for labour?? All the hospitals seem to have CD players and advise you bring some CDs in. What the hell do you play whilst giving birth?! :-)

I can't make up my mind between really lively, rocky music - such as Meatloaf - Like a Bat out of Hell.

Or something more mellow - like it Hot Chocolate's It Started with a Kiss (well, kind of !).

Thought it would be a bit of fun to share ideas?! :-)

Have a great bank holiday all.

LOL Helen xx
Hi Helen

Well I've got a long way to go yet, so I'll probably change my mind 100 times, but if I were to choose now, I think i'd go for calming stuff, rather than headbanging stuff, (although that may take my mind off the pain!). When we were going through the treatment, my DH bought me the Norah Jones cd, which is lovely, and it really helped chill me out - so probably that or something similar. (Although am also a huge Abba fan, so maybe that would creep in there too!)

(Or how about Salt 'n Pepper - Push It!!!!!!!!!!!!) (or is it just me who remember's that one!!!!!!!

Love

Rachel
x

Probably Madness and Baggy Trousers. Oh and I must confess to knowing salt n pepper - showing my age.
Probably "gotta get through this" for me.
Norah Jones is a fab idea - very mellow - think (and for me it's a way off yet) I will go for a mixture as not sure what might do the trick!
Love
Tracey
xxx

Hi Helen

Something like 'Do you really want to hurt me' (Culture Club) and 'I swear' (Backstreet boys?) springs to mind, but honestly, having being through labour & giving birth, I don't think you'll even notice or give a damn about what music is playing in the background!

I think you're so brave contemplating pushing 2 of them out - go girl! I'll let you know how my c.section goes and you'll still have time to change your mind!

Luv Rachel X
