Hey girls sorry if this is to personal but I am curious to see how everyone is handeling the sex thing. Done with 2WW just got my BFP an hour ago and the ok from the nurse to have sex so of course that was the first thing DH wanted to do I am scared that I have screwed something up! I feel like everything has been so fragile this far but I guess if they say its ok its ok! anyone having intercouse and had problems?

NOTHING is too personal for this site, honestly!

About the sex thing, we held of until after the 2WW but then we started having a normal sex life again all the way up until the day before I had my two healthy twin boys. In fact I think my libido tripled due to all the testosterone running around my body from the boys.

Do whatever you feel is comfortable...there are plenty of positions that are comfy and don't hurt your tummy. If you are worried about making your cervix bleed (which can happen) try positions that don't allow maximum penetration.

It certainly didn't hurt my babies....I did have an emergency caesar 5 weeks early but that was due to Pre-eclampsia.

I have to admit that our sex life has definitely taken a slow down since we got pregnant. At first I was just nervous, and then as time went on I'm definitely not in the mood very often. We've just had to be, um....creative in making sure he doesn't feel too neglected. Sorry if that's too personal, but if it's a matter of freaking out every time you have sex or simply taking things into your own hands (so to speak!) then look for other ways to satisfy each other so you don't worry!

Aliann..if they say it's OK for you, well, go for it (typical guy, it's the first thing he wants to do!)

OK, my nurse? Said hold off on the sex till after my U/S...to make sure the embies are not ectopic. sigh. I wish she'd said it was OK!

Oh girls what to do I love to hear the feed back it helps and I am sure they wouldn't tell me to do something that would hurt the fetus I am more paranoid now than I was the entire 2ww! I think maybe the big O is out I felt crampy and scraed I think I am just going to have to work my way along Meggs path!

I got an AHA moment (or maybe a Duh? It's so obvious now to me)...that, by now, with a "natural" pregnancy, I'd be only 6 days late for my period. And I would not be worried.

Meaning this: I'd be drinking, fornicating, and working out with my personal trainer and doing spinning classes...you know, leading a LIFE

We are damned with our knowledge, we IVF pregnant women...we wouldn't even know we were preggers if we hadn't done IVF...

That said, it concerns me that yes, maybe M/S is around the corner...

Yeah well Ladies... My husband is not feeling well (you'd think HE'S the pregnant one!!!) BUT my dreams have been VERY vivid and I swear I had the big "O" two nights in a row waking up in a panic with cramps... Am I normal? I mean I can't even tell if I REALLY did or it was just a nice dream

But the cramps WERE real and they did wake me. So without even trying, and no matter how careful I decided to be I just seem to be right there with you Aliann... Hmmm.... Should I report in tomorrow about tonight's dreams??? (Nope, not Brad Pitt - didn't know the guy!!!!

)

I have my third Beta tomorrow and boy am I nervous AGAIN!!! I have to FEEL pregnant and then LOOK pregnant before I can get rid of this freaked-outness.

Woodcliff I know I thought that same thing normally we might be thinking about a pregnancy test and we should be happy that we have had the opportunity to detox our bodies before we got prego I think we probably have a better chance of having healthy babies I have got to keep telling myself that kind of stuff "PMA" It's funny I told my DH we just need to move forward and enjoy no WHATIFS or we are going to miss out on a lot of the enjoyment that we should be getting out of preganncy, buying things, planning, I am really good at talking everyone else except myself of the ledge go figure

what is m/s is that the same thing as miscarriage

Cocoa! I can't believe you said that...I have had that happen twice, during the 2WW, and when I woke up to go to the "loo" I was also cramping and thought Oh No My Sex Dreams Are making me have the Big O and I'm losing the babies!!!!! OH MY GoSH...this whole journey is such a mind twister!!!!

M/S is Morning sickness (or at least I use it that way, if it stands for Miscarriage I'd best find another acronym!!! Don't want to be a jinx.)

Hi girls no I think that MC is the bad one but I wanted to check with you because I have read it in other context and some women have made it sound that way. O my that dream business is wild you 2 are cracking me up

these hormones are working some mojo on ya maybe testosterone like a man having a wet dream hahahaha!!!!!!!

I can't believe that you guys get so many betas I got my one test and I don't go back to the Dr. until my viability ultrasound which I scheduled today and they can't even get me in until Sept 18, I think this is going to be worse than the 2WW it's like the 3WW from hell. I think I would feel better if I kept getting more betas to make sure my number was climbing. Oh well what ever will be will be talk to you soon.

(just kidding)... I did NOT have a dream last night due to being awake mostof the night...

Aliann... THREE WEEKS BEFORE YOU FIND OUT ANYTHING ELSE??!??!?! That would freak me too. It would be worse than that dreaded 2ww especially since I feel like I'm not pregnant. The fullness is gone and my bbs haven't gotten any more sore which I thought they would considering how high my Beta's have been... I am now sitting and waiting for the 3rd one and I am scared...

Its so weird how some of us have the same symptoms and others have a completely different set...

Tell me about it I am a dam wreck I picked up a book over the weekend "What to expect when your expecting " I would recommend very infomative and my husband says no more books for me! I keep saying "did you know" or "we better" he is about ready to kill me. He has 4 children already and this is my first so I am inspecting every little itch or twinge I am going to make myself crazy. I to no longer have sore bbs and I was freaking I also have no other symptoms, but I have read that the sore bbs could come and go through the 1st tri and I am only 4 weeks so very possible I don't have symptoms yet. sometimes they don't start until 6-8 weeks! great by 7 I will be back at the Dr. so with no symtoms for 3 more weeks I am sure I might have to be checked into the loney bin

Ahhh, I'll be in the looney with ya!!! This whole pregnancy thing is just the start of a lifetime of worry... (yes, you worry from the moment of conception and I am assuming til the day you die because my son is almost 14 and I worry about him all the time... normal worries of course). Well, I feel better about the bbs soreness coming and going but I still won't feel ok until until week 35 (HA!)... I too bought "What to Expect..." but I keep it all to myself because DH wouldn't understand anyway...

Well, I got my new Beta back... it's up from 1272 on Friday to 4636 today (monday) so I am good. Whew... (for now

) I have MORE bw on TH and they will schedule my u/s for Monday the 3rd when I go in... I am hoping and PRAYING all is well...

So VLADA!!! We're waiting on YOU!!!!

And Aliann, I'd go NUTS if I had to wait that long for the U/S...And I fear that all of this reading is only the beginning, as in "You're not a good mommy if you don't read XYZ" .ha. I can survive kids (I THINK) but probably not the competitive mommies!!

Woodcliff, I must confess I have already been looking at maternity wear we are lucky they actually have really cute stuff out there right now I had to buy some shirts yesterday and one of those prego bands that will keep your pants up if you can't button them up. I have a mild case of that OHSS mild my ass I look like I am 4 or 5 months pregnant. Did I tell you that I work with a girl that is 18wks with twins and I am bigger than her pathetic. I figure if this doesn't subside by the time I get my U/S I will just start buying maternity clothes dear GOD I am going to be as big as a house!
