Aliann... They may not count the days but you should. You may be 13dpt but to determine your due date you have to count from ER (or conception) date then 2 weeks back to LMP. Also, it helps us compare our betas...

ps - new ticker??????

Hi Aliann,
Well, my first beta was 85 , but i only went today for my second one because my clinic was closed on Saturday  , so i am waiting for the results, i should know this afternoon. I am super nervous, not for the quads though ( i think 85 pretty much means one baby) , but for the beta to actually quadruple.
how are you doing?

I am well I am on a new wait for my ultrasound and I can't wait to see sacs and heartbeats! If you number doesn't jump drastically I have been doing a lot of reading because my number seemed so high and it doesn't double daily, it can but it should double every 2-3 days and 85 is a good number to start. Let us know as soon as you find out!

Hi all,
My beta today was 561, which it should have been at least 340, and it is more than that so that is good, my progesterone was at 32 which is good too, but my estogen was low, it was 471 on Friday and went all the way down to 220 today, i am a little bit worried, but i changed my esrtogen patches right before my blood draw, so may be they have not start working by then yet. My doc is not increasing my estrogen patches, which makes me a little bit nervous, but i have another beta test on wednesday, so i guess we will see. My first ultrasound is Sep 5th.

Vlada---

Did you see that LisaPa is pregnant with twins? Her first beta was also an 85, so don't rule it out yet because she is proof that you just never know!!!!!

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed!!

Hi Heidi,
Yes, I saw that but her beta was 85 like 8 or 9 days after the trasfer, mine was 85 on 12p3dt, so our timing is a little different, but i agree with you that you never know, i have to wait untill US.

Yes, Dear Vlada, You Never Know

(OK, that said, I'll probably have triplets because I tease you so much...)
Laws of Karma, right?

Ladies, anyone else have a hard time focusing on work? I really need to see the heartbeats, and I have to wait ONE MORE WEEK. Darn it.

Aliann, my respectful apologies

Gosh, I'd go bonkers...Can you just keep PESTERING them and be the Squeaky Wheel? 3 weeks is too long...you know, the old Drip Drip Drip technique till they SCREAM and give you one to shut you up? (Can You Tell I'm EAST COAST??)

then again, my own doctor (OB) won't do one until I'm at 8 weeks...(I'll be 8 weeks and around 5 days when he does it).
Is that your case? Your OB won't do it until 8 weeks?

I'm having the 6 week on orders from my IVF doctor...at a local hospital here. Maybe you can try that?
I'm thinking of you!

Hi Girls,

Just came across this wonderful board, wish i saw this earlier! I'm also waiting for the dreaded pt 9/4. Did my 3dt last Friday, 2 good, 2 poor embies. Had bad cramp this morning, had to come home from work  Feel like it's probably over.

We had 3 natural pregnancies, all ended with miscarriage. This is our first attempt at IVF. Was going to do PGD, but canceled due to too few embryos..

Wish everyone luck! Looks like quite a few of you already heard great news.

p.s., anyone in the Phoenix area?

Hi Judy! Board is kind of slow today...guess many people are either "getting back to reality" (aka work) or in bed with morning sickness after their good news!!!

GOOD LUCK. Cramping isn't necessarily bad...Most here had lots of cramping--the embryos placing themselves in the womb--the 1st 2 weeks...so I will wish you GOOD LUCK!

I did have some bad cramping today myself and a little brownish blood...my nurse said it was "normal" but it has freaked me out a bit...

I haven't napped and may have pushed myself to stay awake too much in the past few days so we shall see what occurs.
From now on, I MUST NAP or at least lie down each day...
oh joy
GOOD LUCK...let us know what happens, Judy! (I'm not in Phoenix, but I hope you find someone who is!)
