Hi Everyone

Saw my GP today who is very pleased with my nice level of blood pressure and my wee was great too!!!!! one babies is breach and the other transverse.....typical! They still have time to move!

I am in the middle of sorting bits for my hospital bag, GP advised I get it ready just in case as I have started having practice contractions. The bag does not seen big enough, although I have to remind myself I am not packing for a holiday.

I went to see my best friend with her 4 day old son yesturday and I still can;t get my head around the fact it will be us soon.

I think I will panic when Rachel has her twins as I know I am not far behind!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you all enjoy the banl holiday weekend

Love Mags

Crikey Mags - it's all getting a bit close now, isn't it!? What do Braxton Hicks feel like then? Are they painful??

I haven't even thought about a hospital bag yet - how did you decide what size to go for? As you say, it must be tempting to pack as if you're going on holiday. such discipline!!

You need to do this hands and knees things to encourage your babies to move. If they don't, I suppose you'll have a c-section. You OK with that?

Great to hear you're doing so well, so late on. You seemed to progress so quickly and got some of the nasty pregnancy symptons early on - glad to see you've levelled off now. Your body is obvioulsy used to being pregnant now!

take care of yourself and enjoy the bank holiday!

LOL Helen xx
MAgs

oh my goodness - seems like only yesterday we were in the chat room and you were waiting for your result - and you Helen!
Braxton Hicks - give us an insight Mags - Helen you won't be far behind.
I will be glad to get to my 20 week scan on September 8th and just hope all ok- do we stop worrying after that???

Mags how exciting - glad you are well - fabulous news on the wee.
Love
Tracey
xxx

Hi Mags

Glad you're doing ok, you've got a scan next week same as me I think haven't you? Mine's Thursday (32 wks).

How are your feet/ankles? Mine are still really swollen most of the time - I'm fed up of only wearing my unlaced trainers every time I step out of the house!

Don't worry too much about what you've got in your hospital bag, as long as you've got basics, your hubby will always be able to bring extra stuff in each time he comes to visit. I haven't even thought about packing mine yet but I've made sure I've got things ready like nighties/d.gown/babygros/vests washed etc.

I can't believe I've only got 6 weeks to go.... eek.

Take care,
Luv Rachel X
30 weeks today!

Had a bit of a panic yesturday when I felt things didn't feel right, I had very bad pains and felt hot and clammy, DH rushed me to my GP were he felt my itchy bump and said "ohhh they fell like they are both head down". OH MY GOD! I am resting like hell now - will find out more at next scan.

RAchel - good luck for you scan tomorrow - it must be 4/5 weeks togo for you now!

Helen/Tracey - The braxton Hick are very srange, you get a tight feeling then ot just relaxes a little bit.

Take care of those bumps

Mags

OMG Mags - no wonder you were in a panic yesterday! It really could be any time from now on, couldn't it!? Obviously the longer they hang around in there the better but twinnies do have a tendency to come early!?*!

Glad to hear that you're still feeling well and keeping those feet up. When's your next scan??

Glad to hear the BH contractions aren't too painful. Haven't had them myself yet but will keep you posted!

Take care and take it easy!

Helen xx
Mags

OMG!!!!!!!!!! It's all go in your life hey? They were lying differently before anyway weren't they? I am sure one was transverse wasn't it - probably you finally feeling their great big bonces landing head down not too delicately. REst but my friend with triplets (IVF) had the same - they suddenly landed head down at 31 weeks - all 3 - most unusual and she is only 5"3!!! The heads engaged at 35 weeks but she had to walk around like John Wayne for a week!
Good luck
Love
Tracey
xxx
