Hi

Gill - You'll be getting a telling off about that huge sign of yours again---i told you how scary she looked
Glad about your lining, make me worry about mine as it was only nearly 5 at this stage, hope it was ok as they dont check it, even when i asked. They must know what they are doing though eh?

Vicki - Good luck for your appointment in Madrid, cant wait to hear all the news

Carolyn - Please come back, we are more important thatn Phantom and i want to be in London with you, i miss it and your making me jealous
Your acu guy sounds lovely, i think with our hormones, you were a star to keep those tears back. Glad your feeling so positive about your next step to IM-----i'm praying all our eggs are young fabbies dooby doo eggs

Rebecca - You still on the floor from shock

Big J - How you feeling today, pop in.

Anna - Last but not least our helpful little bud. You been busy with all those nappies? I eventually checked out Matthew on photobucket and i have decided i should keep him. Will forward my address and you can send him visa express delivery so he gets here faster

Still not had a reply from IM about my embie quality. THey said they were excellent but i want to know the grade and how many cells they had divided into, wish they would hurry up :x
Am feeling fine though, quite a few twinges all day and in the loo half the time but not looking into anything.

Had a meeting with my svq assessor and passed all my work so far-----only another 5-6 months to go

Then had news about my ex-keychild (like a son), he went with his girlfriend for their scan and there was no heareat. Poor thing called me from the hospital in hysterics, feel so gutted for him and know only to well of the heartache he feels

Ok i am going to chill after a long day

Love Jen x

hello all,

I'm doing well, feel like I have a mild hangover (without the benefits of booze) but other than that I'm still sitting on cloud 9 hardly believing that this is me it's happening too! I just got my day 16 beta and it was 1,083!! I was paranoid that the embies had gone away over night as the cramping eased off but it/they are obvioulsy still there!! Ultrasound in 2 weeks, just need to make the appointment - can't wait!!

Gill, congats on the scan - lining sounds great, one less thing to worry about! Loving the posh signs and sparkles - keep them going - it's turning into quite the competition :)

Carolyn, enjoy the theatre, sounds lovely - you guys make me very home sick talking about the UK!!

BIgJ - hope you're Ok today, keep strong - you are one brave lady.

Jen, how are your embies doing - how do you feel?? thinking about you every day. can't remember whether it was you asking about chocolate but I has some everyday as it was the only "bad" thing I allowed myself. It made me feel good so it can't be wrong!! I think my ultrascan will be on the same day you test!!

Have to run and get some lunch (eating for 3 already!!) but lots of love to everyone I missed; we're all one day closer!

Hi Girls :D

I got email off IM today and they say that I am now prepared for ET and that it could be between the 31st-8th Sep!!!!!! OH MY GOD, next week! :? :? If it is I hope it's before the 8th or acu lady wont be there :( Anyway I am pleased that the lining was good and they said that there were no problems with the donor :D So far so good.

Carolyn- :D I hope you havent been working too hard. Glad acu went well and that you managed not to cry
Sorry to hear that your eggs were so bad :( but at least now you know you are on the right path.
Hope book three is good, looking forward to the book review at the end  Glad your mum now understands what you are going through, it is so difficult for people to imagine what it feels like for us.
Hope you had a fab time at Phantom :D

Jen1- :D Glad you passed all your work, all the hard work you've done has paid off  Sorry to hear about your Key child, its so sad :(
Jenb has forgiven me about the big post, I edited it as soon as she said it affected her ms so now the page is back to normal. Now when I do the sparklee posts I make sure that they are not big enough to distort the page and I think that is ok.

JenB- :D Hope you are ok, is what I said to Jen right :?: are they ok as long as they dont distort the page, I would hate if I made you feel ill. :(
Have you got used to the antibiotics yet? Hope you are feeling better.

Anna- :D I would love to see little Matthew, but I cant get into photobucket :( I could do with a bit of help. :?

Rebecca- :D Your beta is fantastic! How exciting , 2 weeks until your ultrasound! :D

Hi to everyone else, hope you are ok.
Im off to make a cake now for my Grandmother, Im going to see her tomorrow, I try and see her every Thursday.

Take care
Lots of love

:?: Hi

This was emailed form IM today about our embies.
Do you think this is good for a day 2 day transfer, i was hoping for more cells and can you tell me what is the highest quality they can be, is it 10?

On day +2, 2 embryos at 4 cell stage were transferred (quality 10)
4 embryos at 4, 4, 4 and 2 cell stage (quality 10, 9, 9 and 7) were cryopreserved.

Rebecca - Fab news about your scan date, wont be long babe.

Thanks girls. Dont want to post questions today on Awaiting Treatment out of respect or Aunty.

Hi egg heads! Happy Thursday...

Jen, embie quality at IM.... 10 is the very best you can get! So well done you. :D Matthew was one of an 8, a 6 and a 5. The division of the embies looks good too. We had 2 of 4 cells and a 5 cell. The numbers won't mean anything when you get your BFP. I couldn't remember ours and had to look them up. At the time I thought I would remember them forever! Am thinking of you, hope the days are passing quickly, will you use a hpt or go for bloods? xx

Gill, glad your scan went well....so close now! (My lining was 7mm at the same stage as you) Fingers crossed you don't have to wait much longer. You will be busy booking flights and a hotel before you know it..yipee!!!

Rebecca, how are you today? Have you stopped smiling yet? Will you tell anyone your news or wait until your 12 week scan? I would like to place a bet that it is twins.. anyone take that bet? Am so excited for you.

Carolyn, looking forward to reading your book review. What a lovely gesture from your acu man..awwhh...Hope you enjoyed the theatre and all is Ok with your sister. Making the decision to go down the donor route is not easy. I really believe that we must not be too hard on ourselves and make time to grieve for what might have been. PMA to you as you go forward with your tmt. xx

Big J, hugs to you at this difficult time. You sound positive about your next steps..lots of luck to you.

Hi to Jen B, have a fab BBQ. Wrap up warm and have a few beers on me!

As for me...it's my birthday today!! DP took the morning off work and we had a lovely long late breakfast together. (croissants and champagne!) We are having a meal together tonight. I went out last night with my new mum friends, 7 of us went for a curry and a beer and spent a happy evening trying not to talk about babies!!! Matthew is fine, we are trying lots of different food at the moment, he loves carrot, sweet potato and pear. Feeding time is great fun, especially yesterday when he had a mouthful of carrot and sneezed all over DP...I had tears running down my face with laughter

Hugs to all here
PMA to everyone
Bye for now

 Hi Gill

Meant to say, keep your eyes open when you go for ET. There were 5 couples there for ET at the same time as us and only 1 female had dark hair. Dont know if i'm looking into things but me and dh though this might be the day for 'blondies transfer'

Also if you are getting a taxi back to the airport, just as you leave the main road (Av Diagonal) there are loads of universities, made me quite emotioal thinking there was probably someone in there who gave me my embies.

Cant wait to hear how you get on

Jen :D

Thanks hun, I will keep a look out and see if its the same when we go!
When we were there for the hysteroscopy we walked around a lot and I kept looking at young women walking past thinking could it be you who's helping us? God only knows what they were thinking having a 37 year old British woman staring at them!lol
But now I just need to hope that our embies will be as good as yours and that we will have some little frosties too!
I am made up that I can have acu, its something I have always wanted to try and Im sure it will helps towards our BFP :D

Thanks so much for all your help  :D
