Thank u Woodcliff, i'll keep my hopes up. My DH keeps telling me it might be implantation too. But it just feels so much like PMS!

How far along are you? Rest well and take care of yourself and baby.. I'll let you know the outcome of my test.

Hi Judy and Nicole,
I too am testing on the 4th - I had 3 6-day blasts transferred on the 21st. I felt nothing the first 5 days and then on Monday I starting getting cramps. Today I got a slight brown discharge so I am waiting for AF to arrive later today or tomorrow. I've kind of given up hope! I know everyone says that it could be related to pregnancy but after 5 rounds of IVF this seems to be the regular routine.
Hope you are both doing well.

Hi! Kelly, try not to worry...read back to the early pages of (I think) this thread. Many women who tested positive had cramping (I did) and a discharge...it's supposedly "normal" ... "Old blood" coming out, and the cramping is implantation.

It freaked me out also...but it's hard not to worry. Even now...
But DO read the earlier posts, they are very helpful!!! (At least I found them to be.)

I have an U/S Tuesday, wish me luck. (I jumped the gun and put twins on my ticker cuz my HCG is so high, my nurse said it looks like twins. That said, I just hope at least ONE STICKS!!!)

Woodcliff, congrats on your baby(ies) - that is wonderful!!!

I don't mean to sound negative but this is my 6th attempt and on the day of transfer we got results from my DH's SCSA/DNA fragmentation test. We were told that his sperm is highly fragmented with poor fertility potential so the likelihood of this round working is very slim.

So, with the cramping and what looks to be the start of AF, I am pretty sure it didn't work. I am much more prepared for this failure because I now know what is causing the problem. At least now we can work on fixing the problem and hopefully in the next couple of months you'll see me posting a bfp.

Best of luck with you ultrasound on Tuesday!

Oh, Kelly, you did NOT sound negative...and I can see you are a realistic thinker regarding IVF. I am sorry to hear about the fragmentation...you're right, it's up to the embie whether or not it's healthy enough to stick around.

You sound very strong...thinking of you as you go through this...and thank you for your congratulations..but I had spotting last night and now I'm worried as well.

So tenuous, these IVF pregnancies!

Hey judyy and kellym:
I'm glad to see I'll have company during this long, tortuous wait. I started cramping on sunday and just keep praying AF will not arrive. This is my first IVF cycle, so I don't really know what to expect. Are either of you going to test beforehand?!? I can't decided if I should or not....

Hey Girls! I am also in the 2WW. I am going thru my first IVF and had ET with 3 embies on 8/25....1 blast and 2 morulas. I started with 15 embies and lost them all but these 3 due to poor egg quality, so we xferred them all b/c not able to freeze :o . I don't know what to look for as far as symptoms that it worked :? All I've had is some cramping, but no spotting or discharge (sorry if TMI). My beta is 9/5 but I am thinking of taking HPT this Satuday...which will be 7dp5dt.

I hope you all don't mind me joining in...we seem to be pretty close in test dates.

Sticky baby dust!

Hi Nicole, Kelly, Jill

It is great to go through this difficult wait together. Do you guys have fun plans for the long weekend? we didn't plan anything now I wish we did. I'm afraid I'll be sitting around obessing over this :)

While, at this point, I don't plan to do HPT. Had bad cramps off and on both yesterday and today. I'm too scared to see - HPT! Left a message with my Dr re the cramps, haven't heard back from him. My PT is Tues 8 am.

Keeping my fingers crossed and trying to stay positive.. 8)

Hi Judy, Nicole and Jill,

Well it looks like it is over for me (not that I am surprised). I started bleeding this morning and took a hpt (9dp5dt) and it was negative. I was pretty sure it wasn't going to work because of my DH's dna fragmentation results, but I had a tiny bit of hope. I'm not as devastated as I was the last 5 times! So, we will now look to donor sperm and hopefully get the bfp in November.

wish you guys the best of luck!

I'm so sorry KellyM  Eventhough you've been thru this before --- still doesn't make it "easy" to deal w/ BFN......there's always the hope.....the anticipation....the "maybe this time".............i'm just thrilled to see that you've already got your next plan of attack in action!! HOORAY for you!!! Hopefully the donor sperm will be the key........ take care of yourself

Kelly, I'm sorry to hear about this...good luck picking out the donor ... it's interesting, a bit surreal to choose a donor...you see all of these FABULOUS traits that you wonder if the person's for real! But it's kind of fun, in an unusual/secretive kind of way. Hard to describe ...

BEST TO you, I hope your husband is OK too...it's tough on a guy, although we do all the work, their sperm is King to them, so hopefully he's doing okay!!! Along with YOU.

Have a glass of wine for me, OK? And do something nice for yourself...so many cycles really messes with the emotions...not to mention the body.

Good luck and let us know what happens

I'm so sorry Kelly to hear the negative :( :( . It must be comforting though to know that you guys have a plan for next round. It will work in November!

You seem like a very strong person. I will try to be calm regardless of my result next Tuesday too.

Relax and have a good weekend. Take your mind off this crazy IVF business for a while!

Kellym,

Sorry to hear about that. I wish you luck next time.

Judy/Nicole/Jill

I am also testing 9/4. I had a 5dt on 8/21. The waiting is hard. I'm not looking forward to the weekend. I've also had some cramping on and off/ some worse than others. How about you guys?
