Spotting and 18 weeks pregnant

Post by bubblymichelle »

Hi Everyone

I have posted on another thread but just wanted to let you know, I have started spotting again. I have been to the GP who says babys heartbeat is strong and that my stomach is growing to how it should be. She asked me to go back and see the midwife tomorrow who will be able to detect the heartbeat and I will be able to hear it as well. She said that because I had spotting at 14weeks it may be that my AF Is due and this is why I have spotting again. She said everything seems to be going ok but I will double check this tomorrow.

She advised me to take a couple of days off work and rest and just take things steady so thats what I will do.

Hope everyone is ok.
Love
Shell.
xx

Shell

just wanted to drop and line and say am thinking about you....
Hope all goes well at midwife and you are back on track once you have heard the heartbeat. I turned over in bed last night and thought someone was trying to pull the bottom of my bump off - god it stretched. Reckon it's all pretty normal though I felt particularly unfomfortable yesterday - probably because I was stuck with the world's most boring man at work - awful - even baby slept throught it!
Take care
Love
Tracey
xxx

Shell,
Hi hon - just wondered how you are. I hvaen't posted for ages due to computer dying, 2 weeks off work and being out and about loads this last week, so every time I think about logging on something happens or the internet won't work. Hopefully all spotting has now stopped. I was talking to my midwife re stretching pains (with having endo, I had convinced myself my adhesions would stretch so much they would snap!!!), and she said that all stretching can happen normally, and can be worse around the time of AF - mother nature is so weird!

Anyway, hope you're OK,
lots of love, Sally xxx
Me - severe endo, DH - poor sperm. First IVF ICSI Nov 02 neg. Second IVF/ICSI May 03 Positive.

Hey Shell,

hope things are better now. it's awful you're still getting all this this far on. I've had brown spotting/staining every day since week 5, had a permanent sore tummy, cramps and red bleeding with a couple of clots at weeks 9 & 10. Baby ok at week 9 but no further scan is able now until my booking scan - almost at 14 weeks. I'm going out of my head most days fretting but you give me hope that all is ok. It's all a waiting game, isin't it?...

Take it easy
Zoe x
