Hi there,

What am fine thanks - but so busy! First my computer completely died, so I am on a temp one at the moment, then I was off work for 2 weeks on hols, then I have just been so hectic it's unbelievable. My work means that I travel around quite a lot so this, plus all the other factors have meant no time to log on. And I keep having internet problems as well!

I'm nearly 17 weeks and touch wood feeling fine, although do feel rather portly around the middle. Had my amnio last week while I was off - it was fine - I've had worse blood samples taken to be honest, so we anticipate the results in the next week or so. Have also discovered I'm rhesus negative, so have to have antibody injections - had the first after the amnio, and it really hurt, as the stuff is quite thick and has to go into a muscle in your arm. Very horrid.

Sorry I have neglected the site, but there don't seem to be enough hours in the day - I'm planning on looking in a couple of days a week after work to keep in touch with everyone.

How are things with you? Has the UC settled down after your steroids?

Hope you and all the other chums on the site are fit and well,
lots of love and apologies for neglect, Sally xxxxx
Me - severe endo, DH - poor sperm. First IVF ICSI Nov 02 neg. Second IVF/ICSI May 03 Positive.
Miracle baby Jay born on 27th January 04

Sally

How wondeful to hear from you - such a relief - all these hormones. Glad the amnio went ok - let;s hope all ok - sure it will be. Rhesus neg - OMG - trust you! There was something on baby centre.co.uk I was reading on this only today. At least they can do something about it now - will you have the injections or whatever it is? Sorry I know next to sod all! UC is pretty much sorted thank - have been on steroids nearly 5 weeks and took about 4 this time but c'est la vie (impressed?) at least now for the remaining 3 weeks of steroids it will keep it at bay - just hope it doesn;t come back. I am over 18 weeks now and getting all sorts of flutterings like popcorn or a fizzy feeling - most weird. HAve become larger by the day and heard baby heart beat 2 weeks ago. DH had a huge grin. Have had some prawns sally and also yesterday relented and stuffed extra lunch down - yep M&S prawn sandwich!!! oops - have been shopping and got some baby clothes etc and a steriliser - just trying to get my head round breast pumps - ooo er!
Glad you are well - catch you soon
Love
Tracey
xxx

Hi Sally,

Just read that you're rhesus neg - me too! I had an anti-d injections at 16 weeks as I had bad bleeding then - they did it into my bum and it was fine - yours sounded v. sore! When do they test you for antibodies again? I'm not sure when I get done - 28 weeks, I think, unless I bleed in the meantime.

Speak soon!
love,
Nina (19 weeks 5 days)

Hi Sally

I did post on the other thread I think it was under my name. Nice to hear from you I have been wondering how your doing. They thought I was negative because of the bleeding but luckily I have been tested and everything was ok. I hope all your results come back ok from the amnio I am keeping everything crossed for you.

I do try to get on site all the time but sometimes it is pretty difficult don't always have the time.

Tracy eating her prawn sandwich, I am dying to eat some prawns and Ocean sticks but still not had any yet.

I am also thinking I wonder if I am having a boy or girl, but I guess I am nearly half way not much longer to find out.

Love
Shell.
19wks 2d pg
xx
