Glad that you had a great weekend with your friends. HMMM Drink and antibiotics. I have only done that when I was a lot younger. Fell off a motorbike in Thailand when I went there to get over a bloke who shafted me, cut open my right arm, did not get it properly seen to and got a really bad infection. Had to have an additional course of antibiotics when back in the UK as the amount of booze that I drank messed up the first lot. Oh the joys of youth. Long time ago now.

Would be good to see your protocol. Help me keep up with your timings and also map out my schedule and see whether I have any hope of getting a cycle in pre Xmas. My AF has just passed. Next one would be starting around 2nd October. Wonder if there is any chance that I would go on BCP then???? Not that I am impatient to get started.

Anyway - hope that everyone will have a good week ahead. Cannot wait for Gill to get back from Barcelona and Jen1d to get a BFP. It is going to be a great week.

Off to finish my 3rd book. Called Having a Baby Through Egg Donation. By Ellen Sarashon Glazer and Evelina Weidman Sterling. It walks you through each stage in the process. Very logical step by step guide through the whole thought and actual process. It is written for a US reader so there is some stuff which I have found not applicable (especially legal stuff and stuff around the costs) but the vast majority of stuff is of course helpful & relevant. More positive and supportive than the first couple of books that I read. Want to finish it this evening so I can post off to my Mum.

Just got a text from Gill, there are no frosties
She is on the tourist bus and taking it easy.
She has 3 embies on board though which is great. Bring on that bfp

Me - Well we are at the stage that i'm not to worried and feel strangely calm----until Friday---- but i know the pessaries will probably stop the bleeding. I'm so scared to talk about it incase it starts. I felt a few twinges today again and a small throbbing sensation in my boobs a bit but nothing else. Dont want to look in to it much as i've had some of this before and it can be the medi. Just feel now, can we every get a bfp, after all the disappointment i just cant see it happening for us although i'm being positive. Maybe i'm just trying to protect myself just now but i dont think it will every work for us, then i see the thread with the lady who had a bfp after the 8th attempt and know it CAN work????
Dont know, a bit confused today I think its called the emotional rollercoaster----i have been n that bloody rollercoaster for years now, when does it stop to let me off

Spak later, been back at work today and have a bit of a sore back and am whacked. Go in tomorrow for an early shift then off until the 7th---getting to close now

carolyn- I only had 1 glass of champers...didn't think that would make me sick Just goes to show eh! I have 3 more days of antibiotics then i can get on with my tmt. hopefully i will get an email from IM between the 14th and 28th re- starting patches. I have tried to sort out a scan and although Gp will do it on NHS it's turning out difficult to book. I wrote to my GP on Friday but am still awaiting a reply. If the call comes early 17th for a scn i am in glasgow and can easily go private and get a #90 scan there and then. All this to-ing and fro-ing and not knowing is a pain. Glad you have got all your Im stuff away. I read that you got bloods done? and results yet? You are fair tramping your way through those books...Sounds like Kim is joining you too!!!!!

Anna how are you and Matthew doing???? Did you have a good birthday?

Hi

Gill text today and didnt say anything about her embies, just that she is thinking about us all and will email soon. I have been trying to keep her perked up and positive

So its D11, me and Carolyn's favourite day but these pessaries are working a treat so far I'm scared to say the B---d--g word, so wont. Have had stuff going on in my tum today, its either the pessaries fighting off AF or its worked, personally i think its the first one. I am really calm and have done no knicker checking yet but today after feeling things go on---especially D11 when its normally all over for me, i now think its all over. There are so many great embies that turn out to be negative and bad ones get a positive. There is no guarentee with this ivf crap and its all down to luck. I can just see it now, 22yr donor, quality 10 embies and bfn for me If this happens then i wont believe any other cycle can work and i will be devastated.

Oh well, will just have to wait, nearly there now but i am just so terrified if its not worked as i get so depressed. I have been so positive so far but after these feelings today, well?????????????

Oh my god, got a big churn in my tum when i saw my ticker, it's getting to close for comfort now

Feeling better today, nothing i can do really, just wait and wait

Friday i get blood test at 08.40am then wont get the results until nearly teatime arrrrrrhhhhhhhhhh my nerves will be done in and my lovely nails will be down to the quick

have go an excited churn in my tum for you hun...I just KNOW that you are up the duff...I am shocked to hear you gotta do a beta on Friday...My clinic has always done an HTP then a beta ( even tho i had AF both times)....Mmmnn that is such a hard one that you have to wait to Friday pm.

My headache has been here for 12 days now. thought it wass the antibiotics ( am on the last day girls can't wait to stop the bloomin things ) but is defo the bc pills. Really beginning to get to me and stopping me coping with my days. hacve been in bed early every night this week cause of the pain. Have tried drinking tons of water ( am on the revitilising drops from th acu so am on minof 10 glasses a day) . I do not have an acu appointment this week ( she is on hols or i would go and see her) but hope that by next week she can help. Am hanging in there. Hope by the end of next week i can start pacthes...Friday 14th would be the earliest day for that, then my headache wil be more manageable( well after 1st day of patches as you girls have said they are mega the 1st day)

it breaks my heart to hear you so sad...hun whats wrong? Is it cos no frosties? Or just tired and low cos of 2ww?
It's so difficult hun to keep up your Spirits, when you have ben through 4 BFN's...but we are here if you need to sound off an let the sadness out...

A bit of psycholgy now just tell me to shut it if you don't want to hear any of my stuff:oops: Sometimes we use a blanket of fear and sadness to cover all emotions. It's easier being with the emotion you know well ( loss and grief stuff) than it is to feel in higher spirits so i do understand what your going through. Sometimes just focusing on the one little postive helps raise your feelings.
I do think it's good that you got 3 embies. ( ones wearing sun glasses here!!!!) I know other ladies who have only got 1embie at DE and had to pay for that so hope you see that things could be worse. You have 3 embies snuggling in and thel ittle one is a fighter especially with the other to embies to help him along...

Hope some of the low mood lifts soon for you hun...
