Hello everyone.

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was great. Didn't really do anything, which was nice. We just hung around the house all weekend. I agree that fall is my favorite season too.

I'm on day 5 of Lupron. I haven't had any side-effects from it yet. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to or not. I'm counting down the days until af shows up. She should be here next Tue. Then, I can go in for my baseline ultrasound and blood work and start Gonal-F. I would love to hear any side-effects anyone else is feeling too.

Christie - Can you tell me exactly how many days of each drug you will be doing? It sounds like we have a similar protocol. I am not feeling much with the Lupron exept for some wheezing last night. Calling RE office to see if this is a common side effect if you have asthma.

I have BCPS from 8/13-9/8
Lupron 10 units 9/2 - (not sure when ending - don't have calendar) then drop down to 5 units
Gonal F 9/12 -
Ovidrel -
Estimated Retreival 9/22-26

I started 10 units of Lupron on Fri. I'll stay on it until I get my period. That should be around next Tue. I will then call on day 1 of my next cycle and go in for a baseline ultrasound and blood work. Then, I'll drop to 5 units of Lupron and start Gonal-F. I think I'll be doing 225 of that. Not sure, though. My RE said I'd be on the Gonal-F for 10-14 days. Where do you live? My allergies and asthma have been horrible this past week. The fall is always bad for me, though.

Yes, my allergies are killing me beginning - THIS MORNING!!!! I live in Chicago.

It sounds like exactly my protocol, except they never mentioned getting AF and when I should be dropping down to 5 units. I have a call out to the RE Nurse. I am confused!!!!

It's good you called the nurse. That's what they are there for. If you were on bcp, it might be different for you. I wasn't on bcp. I had to wait until I ovulated and then start the Lupron.

Ingrid - I have always been given higher dose...20 units of lupron before and with stim its 15 units now.

Rest of the sweethearts, take it easy...have lots of PMA.

Hi everyone ... wow - I missed alot while i was out of town. hehe

albany07 - my Dr. does the suppositories for prometrium not the shots.

I have been giving myself the Lupron injections for a few days now and I have not really had any side effects. Just a tiny bit of vertigo that has seen to go away after my accpuncture this morning. I did however somehow inject into a blood vessel the other day and I have this MASSIVE ugly bruise on my belly.

BABY DUST all around!

Hi guys - I only have a second. I work this week 7:30am - 6:00pm and I commute a hour each way to and from work. So I won't have a lot of time to get online except of the few minutes I have at night.

I got my E2 results today. It was at 35.7 and they said anything under 50 is good so I am OK to start stims on Friday.

Has anyone else gotten blood results back???

I hope all of my IVF sisters are doing well. Our time is getting closer and pretty soon I will have to work hard on keeping up with all of the BFP's!

Have any of you gotten your period once you were on Lupron? I didn't take bcp at all and started Lupron after I ovulated and now have to wait to get my period before I can start my stims. I'm not due to get it until Tue., but I'm already starting to feel crampy, like I'm going to get it sooner than that. Has anyone else had that happen or will I just get it like I normally do?

Hi Ladies,

Monday I go for my very first US & E2 (supposed to also get AF that day) ... I'm kinda excited and yet a bit scared all at the same time

Can someone help me out and suggest some questions I should/need to ask (I don't have any family support other than my Hubby and my brother ... who are not much help in the woman dept. )

I have been on BCP and Leuprolide since Sunday

Hi ladies~

This thread has been kind of quiet. Well.... my last BCP was Sunday. The nurse at the RE's office sd I may or may not get AF. I am crampy. However no sign of her yet, but I am thinking I should get AF since I have been on BCP for 5 weeks. Who knows?

Christie ~ I am glad to hear you haven't gotten many side effects from Lupron yet. I am on another board and some of the ladies there have had some. They say it makes them emotional and gives them mood swings.

Ingrid ~ Did you call the RE to check on your wheezing? Like Christie said, call them, that is part of the reason they are there, to answer our questions.

Love ~ Welcome to the board. This is my first IVF cycle. The only thing I was told to ask was what my antral follicle count was. I am learning as I go.

Hi!
This weekend should be the start of my short flare protocol. I am confused as to if I should go to the clinic that I have been going to, or if I should start at a new clinic that I met with the DR. last week. The new place is more aggressive, and seems to be more friendly. Both clinics have pretty good stats, but I wasn't completely happy with the former clinic. My first IVF cycle, I got a BFP, saw the heartbeat and then miscarried at 7 weeks. I was using the prometrium vaginal pills and I think they didn't work. Then we did a Frozen cycle, both embies survived the thaw, but I was on so much estrogen my uterine lining was 21MM. way too thick. They still did the transfer, and of course it was a BFN,.

I have to decide what to do today!!!!! Anyone from Ohio??? I am so confused!!!
