Diet and herbs during IVF

Post by lace7725 »

Hello ladies ... I have been doing some research on the web about type of foods to each while going through IVF to help things along. Examples - tons of protein foods, only organic food, no dairy, no bananas or yogart, warm foods, warms drinks ... As for herbs I have read about taking 500mg of Bromeline and drinking red raspberry tea.

I was wondering if any of you ladies have any comments on this or any suggestions that you have heard before?

This to me would be a really helpful thing to have.

Thanks
Lacy

Before I started this cycle I went to see a naturopathic doctor who put me on a better way of eating. It's basically what you were saying with the protein being mainly chicken and fish. I never heard about the yogurt though. I am only to have goat's milk yogurt. She also gave me red raspberry tea because it supports the uterus along with dandelion root and nettles. She also says that warm drinks are better for you.
I have definitely felt better eating that way and am awaiting my test so hopefully it will show that those changes were the right thing. Best of luck to you!
