That is the question! I am 38 weeks tomorrow and at my visit yesterday my doc said that next week we can discuss whether or not I want to induce if I haven't delivered before then. She said that she normally wouldn't volunteer to do that, but that since I was already dilated and effaced that she had no problem with it. She stressed that she wouldn't bring it up if she thought it would hurt me or the baby. She just thought I might be ready....
I'm torn. On one hand, it would be great to know exactly when I going to start labor and I really am ready to be done with the pregnant phase and move on to the mother phase. On the other hand, I've heard that induced contractions can be worse and of course I don't want to rush the baby. I will be 39 to 40 weeks at the time.
What are your opinions?????
