my 32 week growth scan

Post by RLV »

Hi girls

Just an update really - had a 32 week scan on Thursday and both twins are ok although one is quite a lot smaller now than the other. They don't seem worried as the smaller one has grown at a steady rate since last scan but is only just over 3lb. The bigger twin is 4.5lb so there's quite a difference. Just hoping little one starts piling on the weight in these final weeks. I'm trying to work out how I can get all the sweet naughty things I eat just to the little twin to fatten him/her up a bit!

Anyway, I go back at 36 weeks for final scan and then they will give me a date probably for the week after for my c.section!!!! Oh my god, I can't believe I've only got 4 weeks to go!

Take care everyone,

Luv Rachel X

What wonderful news Rachel - do you wonder what has been going on in there???!!! Nothing to worry about I know but do wonder if bigger twin will be the one to nab all the milk and the toys or will smaller twin get their own back outside and start snatching it all back again?
Just fabulous news - 4 weeks - I clearly remember you announcing you positive - when was that yesterday??? How time flies - hope it will for me - are you ready? Daft question - are you ready as you will ever be?
Take care
Love
Tracey
xxx

Hi Rachel

Chuffed to hear your 32 week scan went well! I can't believe how quickly time is going. They've not talked about the weight of my two at all - just their measurements. Was that the same for you up until this scan?? As you say, if the medical bods aren't worried about the difference in size, there's no reason for you to be either. Maybe you need to start eating double the naughty stuff to hope that the little on gets his fair share!? (any excuse is what I say!) :-)

Wow - only 4 weeks to go before you talk about c-sections. keep us posted!

LOL helen xx
