OUR LUPPRON LIST IS GETTING LONGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN JUST SEE ALL THOSE BFP'S ROLLING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONE AFTER THE OTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am elated!!!!

Welcome Love and Donna! I have posted some stats - please send any corrections back to me. Thanks! Please send me your ER dates also.

Donna - What does the flare protocol consist of? I just assumed it contains a shorter lupron trial... ?? I may be wrong. Donna, go with your gut! If you feel the other office is better and more upbeat - go for it! You need a very positive outlook during this whole time. If your RE's office makes you feel uneasy - go to the next. Is this still possible during this stage of the game? I do agree, that the progesterone suppository is not as effective. I have read about an IVF'r on this board that kept having very low HCG's (beta's). Her doctor changed her from the suppository to injection. Her #'s went up and he is now progressing. I also asked my office about the suppository and they quickly said "no way". I didn't even ask at that point. I am a big sissy when it comes to pain and needles. But doing the suppository and getting a BFN later would make me feel like I didn't do everything I could have done. This is me and my opinion.

Everything is going great on my end, drefting the clothes and sheets. Continuing acupuncture (yesterday I had a great session) and the Lupron shots. I try not to concentrate on the negative side effects which try to invade my mind and body!!! I have experienced an emotional side, a very hot side (I am normally cold, now I can't seem to keep my clothes on!) and a slight headache here and there - especially at work in front of the computer and lighting. I go for my first US and E2 on Wednesday.

Love - we are all here to support you! Feel free to share your feelings and ask for advice. I know many of us will gladly respond!!! I know the feeling - I am an only child and my dh and I chose not to tell everyone we know. Only 1 person so far. Ask what you feel you need to know. If you want copies of your lab results, let them know. If you are not keeping a calendar or journal, start. Bring this to your appts with you and jot down questions as the days go by.... Do you have any specific questions at this time pertaining to your situation?

I did call the RE's office and asked about the wheezing - the RN never heard of such a side effect and it did resolve with the inhaler. So, no worries. I have asthma and allergies. I guess they are just hitting me harder than usual. No problems...

Donnell - Yay!!!! last day!!!! My last day for BCP is Saturday! It sure feels like a great milestone huh???? I love it and can't wait. My RE office never mentioned anything about AF. I don't think I get AF as I never stop the Lupron, it just drops to 5 units during the time I am doing my stimms. Lupron 5 units stops on the day of the retreival.

Hugs to all and sticky baby dust all around!!!!!!

Grow Follies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should probably be having my ER somewhere around that time too. I would think anywhere between the 21st and the 25th, give or take a day or two. Once I start the Gonal-F, I'll know more. I can't wait. I'm so happy I haven't had any side-effects from the Lupron. At least, not yet. I can't wait to get AF. One of the only times in my life, that I'll be happy about that :D

Hey my beautiful ones!!

Just popped in to see, how's everyone doing?
You all make me feel so proud!!
My sweetheart Ingrid, commedable efforts on keeping this thread alive...I really appreciate it.

Welcome Love...on this thread. we have some wonderful ppl out here.

Update - Finished day 8 of stimming. Going for 2nd scan tomorrow, stimming is giving me sleepless nights this time....hot flashes, bloated stomach, nausea are the common problems. Today I am having svere headache. Not sending any NMA but everyone's body reacts differently. But there's a positive side of the story - last two times these things hardly happened, so something is beginning to differ this time....and I AM VERY HOPEFUL TO HAVE SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM bfn!!!

Hi Archana,
I am also from India....I live in the US... I read your post....I understand your pain...We also have male factor....I beleive that men want to support us but they cannot be there all the time....I cannot imagine how stressful it must be for u witout ur DH...but I think ur DH cannot be the cause of ur BFN....I think if you will think like that then you might unknowingly express the same to ur DH...it would really hurt his feelings...he might not say that....Its a very hard time for you and for ur DH...hang in there...

POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE!!! PMA, PMA, PMA...

Post by albany07 »

Archana - Cycle sista to cycle sista, you do a great job encouraging all of us and I am sure that you are encouraging to all around you especially DH.
You may be thousands of miles away from all of us, but in the short time we were blessed by your narrative presence on this thread, I know you make a difference everyday in the positive environment you create!

I know what you mean about not spreading NMA about the symptoms and I don't think you are! This is good information that many will appreciate as they start thier stimming journey.

Yay!!!! 8th day of stimming... you get to remove those great big follies soon! Looking forward to the BFP. At this point you deserve a BFPx2!!! I am praying for you! Keep us informed as the days get closer!

Let's try something new...

OK, girls... Truth or Dare Question:

Has anyone bought anything for the BFP baby yet?

I have. DH probably thinks I am nuts! LOL. Hey, what ever helps the PMA huh????

I decided to go with the NEW clinic today. They did a hystosonogram today and my uterus looks beautiful! LOL!
I feel good about this one.
Short flare protocol uses a stronger microdose lupron, which the stimming and everything is faster....

I am glad everyone is doing welll

Dear Stressball...Well, life is like that!! But I was just missing my DH who was away in another country all this while (during my last two cycles) but in this cycle he will be with me. Thanks for the word of caution there, I will take care of that. By the way what abt you? Its nice to hear from you. keep in touch.

Ingrid dear, are you a writer or teacher by profession? You write so well. Thanks dear for your wonderful words.

My sister will be beginning with BCP sometime next week and all the time I keep telling her about this forum, that how helpful it has been for me to keep up my PMA. She has not joined any threads till now, but soon she will be. Truely we are blessed to be in such kind of place.

Whenever I go to my clinic, everyday, I find couple of IVF aspirants or who are undergoing the treatment at the pharmacist shop. If they would be buying Lupron, menopur or Follitism, I definitly stop and ask them about their cycle, if its their first one, I try to encourage them with our trademark...PMA. I just want to spread it all around, definitly don't want anyone to go through what I have experienced.
:D Soon becoming IVF saint!!!

doddo...Congrats on your new find!!! Now just trust the clinic and hope for the best!!

Lots of dazzling n stick BABY DUST TO ALL IVFERS!!!
PS. I have also bought something for my baby during pregnancy...a music cd, my first purchase for my baby!!!
