Hi ladies,
I have finally managed to get to the computer just now. I was very sick all day. I wake up, then i throw up a couple of times, then i am nauseous all day, then i throw up again in the evening and before going to bed. I think that is why i am not showing yet. I would like to though :D
Sorry, it is TMI, it is just very frustrating not to be able to function normally, oh well....
I see that we have quite an interesting discussion going on about "to tell or not to tell". I presonally think, that i will tell my child, but evrybody has a different opinion and i respect that.
We decided not to tell anyone about pregnancy untill 12 weeks and it is becoming harder and harder because i have to cancell a lot of meetings and gatherings due to the MS.
Hayley, I agree with the ladies here, marriage will make a big differrence in financial matters as well as legal , but i wish you the best in whatever you choose to do.
Well, i think i am going to lay down again,
Vlada :D

Oh, Vlada, you poor baby :? :?
I feel so bad for you...but hey, you're not all bloated and showy and gaining weight like yours truly here...
Feel better! I hear it eases off...I hope it does...have you considered any meds?

PREGGIE POPS...I bought a box of, oh, around 30 for $4.75...and I suck on them...they are tasty hard candies...for M/S.

Hello ladies

Well DH and I saw our baby (just one) for the first time! It was really exciting to see the heartbeat. The hb was 111, which seems lower than many others on this site. Doc says it is normal, but any other thoughts? Some say it means a boy because it is a little lower, but the web says that the hb really is not a good predictor of sex.....

My DH was soooo relieved that it was just one. Since we haven't had any children, he is a little scared for even one, and the thought of two terrified him.

I feel so bad for those of you with M/S already. I have not had that yet, but I have had HEARTBURN like no other the past 5 nights!!! I have never really had heartburn before, so it has to be due to the pregnancy. Anyone else having heartburn? I will have to check if Tums would be okay to take. I guess with all the heartburn, this baby will have a lot of hair (at least that's what they say :P )

The other good news is that my RE took me off the PIO shots, and gave me Prometrium instead. My hips are forever grateful to him.

Hayley-- some of the pain could be from your ovaries. They have gone through a lot this last month. I was in a lot of pain, and at my u/s the doc said I do have several cysts remaining from the stimulation. He said to expect to be pretty sore for another month or so.

Well gotta run.... take care all!

Thanks everyone for the wose words. I feel a bit better knowing other people have had pain/cramps etc. I may call the clinic and chat to the nurse about it aswell to see what they say.

Anyone getting MS in the middle of the night!? I woke up at 2am last night feeling really nausious. I sat up for a bit, had some water and a biscuit, but then had to throw up. :( :( Nasty... Maybe MS, maybe just the chinese crispy aromatic duck I had for dinner :D

Bye for now,

OH Yes, Hayley... I have had m/s in the middle of the night. The other night I woke up TWICE with waves of nausea and now the m/s is getting worse... Luckily I have not thrown up (yet) and I never threw up with my son 14 years ago either. It is a little worse this time I think because there are 2 babies in there...

My doctor did not check the HB rate last week at my u/s (well, if he did he didn't tell me). I heard that 100-150 is a normal range at about 6w so 111 is just fine... I go in for another u/s Monday morning.

Oh Vlada... one baby and so much illness?!?... I am so sorry sweetie but we all know its a good cause and it will be over at about week 12 so hang in there and drink plenty of fluids...(when you can).

As for me, I just want to stay in bed but I am also itching for exercise too. My house HAS to be vacuumed today or it will blow away with all the dog hair settled all over. It's just disgusting and I want so much to be able to clean it well... I will try a bit later.

Have a great and restful weekend ladeis...

I know I joke about it, but I am really starting to get concerned that I don't have any symptoms, my boobs are still a bit tender, but even they don't seem as bad. Maybe I am just lucky, but now I am just dreading my next appointment on 19th for 2nd u/s.

Hayley, I hope things are going okay for you and that your clinic has put your mind at ease

You guys are on this site waaaaaay too late... I am already sleeping when it looks like you post. I mean I totally fell out at 9:45 Sat night AFTER sleeping in on Sat morning and all I really did all day was clean the house in the AM and go to an early dinner with my DH and son at Olive Garden (yum!!! - pasta and tomatoes... yeah, that's my thing right now... nevermind the CHOCOLATE GELATO and I don't even LIKE chocolate!!!!)

Do any of you ladies TOTALLY fall out when you hit your pillow? I mean I don't even remember falling asleep and then I am in such a deep sleep that I dream ALL night. That darn peeing though wakes me up every time and its SOOOOO annoying esp when you're dead asleep. I am up right now and it is 4:25am. I woke up about an 45 mins ago and spent about 20min praying (there are a lot of people to pray for besides these babies... you are all in my prayers :D )... Anyway, I am still tired but decided to tire myself out a bit by keeping my mind busy here for a while.

Well, yep its official... M/S here!!! Funny thing is though, its not just in the morning. Its ALLLLLLL day....... and...night!! It still seems to wake me up at times at night. Guess I'll just have to get myself over to Babies R Us for ginger candies or whatever they have for nausea.

OOOH, Vlada, the anit-nausea med didn't work?!?!? I guess ginger is really the best option... has anyone tried peppermint? Peppermint does NOT sound appealing at all but if it would help I would try it.

In reading the IVF board it looks like there may be a few new names joining us soon... that will exciting!!!

I know that LisaPa said she wouldn't be posting a lot but hat she would stay with us but has anyone heard from Mina??? Last I read she had severe M/S (sounded like hyperemesis) and that was over a week ago I think... She's due in April too...

OK ladies, I will sign out noe but iI look forward to reading your new posts.

A HHP to all,

Cocoa

Hi everyone!

I didn't talk to the clinic in the end. The pains have gone away, I just get a really sore lower back when I drive, but I'm sure that's normal in talking to you gals and reading other posts.

I'm still feeling MS pretty much all the time. I got some ginger biscuits last night (cookies to all you yankies :D ) so hopefully they will help.

Wood that's weird I started sorting out my wardrobe too! I'm already finding that I either can't do my trousers up or it just feeling really uncomfortable to have them round my belly. Think I'm going to have to get some bigger bras aswell.

10 days to my first US since the positive blood test...!

Hi all,

I'm joining the all day M/S club - I feel horrible. I bought some preggie pop drops yesterday (in fact i bought everything they had on the shelf) - they work for the time I'm sucking them but them I feel sick straight after.... I bought ginger yesterday but that didn't help either ... I have no idea how I'll get through the next few weeks. How do you manage with it at work?

Last night I went to a house warming party and had to leave after 30 minutes as there was no where to sit and I was about to faint and throw up - classy! Now I'm scared to go out.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Only 5 days until the scan - they way I feel at the moment there must be at least a football team in there!!

sending all my love to my equally sicky friends

Rebecca XX

PS. hayley - I'm english living over herein the US - yesterday I looked everywhere for ginger biscuits and nothing, I may need you to ship some over!!
