advise on maternity card

Post by baby-dreams »

hola to all, I'm a newbie here. My DH and I have been trying for a year to get pregnant. I have been pregnant last year but it was an ectopic
Before that I had a stillborn and six months pregnant about three year before the next pregnancy, so my journey has been long and painful
I just applied for the maternity card and my question is has anyone heard of it and does anyone use it. It's not insurance but they suppose to find you grants for your IVF teatments. I just got my card and I'm waiting for the next step. I can't wait for my appointments.

Wish me luck? I/we need it!
Good luck to you all..baby-dreams[/b]

Hi there baby-dreams,

Welcome to this site and all the best for your treatment!

No, never heard of the card you have but sounds fantastic if it can help with the costs - good luck with that and if it works for you, share the good news - plenty of couples would probably love to benefit from it too.

Cheers,
Caroline
