Hi Girls
I am so devasted by reading Scorry's post. It just serves to remind us all what a miracle this whole baby making process is and how fragile.
I feel strange anouncing my good news after this but just to tell you that our little boy, Joshua, Peter,David was born on the 15th August at 10.54am. He weighed in at a strapping 9lb 8 and a half ounces and was born by c-section as the doctors decided I wouldn't be able to give birth naturally. He's perfect thanks be to God and we are so overwhelmed and elated by his arrival.
The operation was a bit hairy in places and didn't go accordinig to plan but he was worth every single second.
Good luck and loads of love to eveyone else out there.
Take care
Terri
xxxxxxxx
Terry

Like Scorry I have been thinking of you as knew you were both due! Congratulations and I am sure Scorry would not mind me saying that she would be and is I am sure (if she knows) delighted for you. None of us want the tragedies - especially after all we go through to get pg in the first place. Pregnancy is awful for hormones and hearing of fellow ivfers losing precious babies is worse for me than friends losing them from normal conception (daft I know and I still feeling dreadful for them) REading about Elaine and Dougie and then Becky recently and now SCorry just makes me lose sense of proportion for a while. I am overjoyed to read of the arrival of Joshua and hope that you are recovering from the hairy op. When you feel up to it - could you let me know if you want, about the hairy bits - just incase!
Joshua is a name I love and we are hoping to get the sex on the scan 2 weeks today at our 20 week.
In the meantime enjoy and I am truly thrilled.
Love
Tracey
xxx
