very low beta....

i am very new here,and been reading all,within my 2wwk,but hard to tell i got my beta and for the 8th time i think im heading downhill again,i have 8.57,and very much in the verge of my insanity,i couldn't feel my numb body as if my world become so dark and the light is too far to see...help me no one to talk to....

hi and welcome to the board!

i'm not an expert on beta numbers but i was always told anything over 5 is a pregnancy. and as long as your number doubles in 48 hours you should be fine. it might be a later implanter.....so keeping everything crossed for you! dont give up hope!

My second beta test Dr. said my # didn't quite double. I freaked out. When I went for my third test, I started to cry. The nurse said why are you upset, I said because my number didn't double, she said but there rising. That afternoon they called and said everything is wonderful. They didn't give #'s and I didn't ask. If I know I analyze it, if I don't know I enjoy my pregnancy at the moment and stay calm. Did they tell you you should be concern? If not, don't worry. Try not to think into it so much. I'm glad you are preg. K

My first beta at 9dpt with 2 fe, was 69.9, and on day 11 it only went up to 78.6 which was on 9/7. This morning i went for another check and am waiting for the results. I am really concerned that it didnt double from day 9 to 11, but the nurse said it might be a fluke.

My previous IVF cycle, my beta was low too, and my dr. said anything over 10 was positive - mine was 13. it didnt work out, but it was not doubling, just slowly increasing - I think the doubling is what is the main concern...

thanks for the encouragement,i need it,how i wish that everything went well so i can go on with my life since this ivf is taking my life too much....i prayed hard for this...

u know my dr.was very kind,that she told me not to worry since i am pregnant by this time all i have to do not to worry then it will affect whats inside my lining

just to pacify me perhaps....i just have to stay calm and will come back after 2days for blood test....if it doubled....(God help me)....
