JEN - SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUR ACCIDENT, BUT THANKUL NO ONE WAS HURT. GLAD YOU WERE STILL ABLE TO ENJOY SOME R & R. WE ALL KNOW HOW BENEFICIAL A GOOD STATE OF MIND IS WHEN UNDERGOING TREATMENT.

CATHERINE - I AM VERY GLAD TO HEAR YOU ARE GETTING A BIT OF RELIEF FROM THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE OHSS. I AM ALSO EXCITED TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR U/S TOMORROW.

KIM - I LOVE YOUR WICKED SENSE OF HUMOR. I CERTAINLY WOULDN'T MESS WITH YOU.

CHRISS - WILL YOU GET AN ESTIMATED SHCEDULE FOR YOUR NEXT CYCLE ONCE AF ARRIVES OR DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT AF?

HELLO TO EVERYONE ELSE I DIDN'T ADDRESS PERSONALLY & THANKS A MILLION TO EVERYONE FOR THE CONGRATULATIONS. I WENT FOR THE 2ND BETA TODAY & IT IS REALLY HIGH: 4,476 THE NORMAL PROCEDURE IS TO DO A 3RD BETA, BUT SINCE IT IS SO HIGH, THE NURSE CONSULTED W/MY DOCTOR 1ST WHO SAID TO SKIP THE 3RD BETA & SCHEDULE THE U/S. (THE U/S IS 9/20.) IN THE MEANTIME, I AM JUST TO STAY ON MY MEDS, TAKE IT EASY & WAIT. THE NURSE SAID THE BETA NUMBERS TELL HER WE ARE LOOKING AT TWINS (OR MORE). WE ONLY PUT BACK 2, BUT A SINGLE BLASTOCYST HAS A HIGHER LIKELIHOOD OF SPLITTING INTO IDENTICAL TWINS THAN A 2 - 3 DAY EMBRYO. I DO REALIZE, HOWEVER, THAT THE ODDS OF TRIPLETS WHEN ONLY 2 BLASTS ARE TRANSFERRED IS ONLY 1% AT THIS CLINIC. OF COURSE, AT THIS POINT, I REALLY DON'T EVEN WANT TO WORRY TOO MUCH ABOUT HOW MANY; I JUST WANT TO PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER & KEEP PRAYING BECAUSE I STILL HAVE A LONG LONG WAY TO GO.

LuAnne, So excited for you. Straight to the U/S huh? That is great. That is just next week. I knew that was a very high beta. I can't stop squirming I'm so excited. Ooops! Didn't stop to think are you and DH excited about multiples? I pray each day and night for multiples. Not six mind you, two or three would be great. One, Two or Three - doesn't matter, it is a true blessing from God. Take care of those precious beanies and yourself.

Love,
Kim

Hi girls, so good to hear from everyone!

Catherine, so glad that you are beginning to feel better! Good luck tomorrow w/ ultrasound!

Jenbabes, sorry to hear about the accident. So glad to hear that you and DH are ok. How are the headaches? What do you think they are from? Feel better.

Amy, As it turns out I got my period this morning, 2 days after stopping PIO shots. Yes, I am pretty crampy! I'm sitting with the heating pad right now!

Babyblue, loks like you will be starting soon. Look forward to hearing your good news.

LuAnne, sounds like you are doing great! So happy for you. Stay positive. I do not have to wait to start again. Yeah!

Hi Tam & Yasmina and anyone else I missed this time.

As for me...THis is the one time that I am happy to see AF. It means that I can get started again. I was not soooo stimulated last time, so my doc says it's ok to start right away. No need to wait a cycle because my ovaries are quiet. We are not doing the down-regging as I may have been too suppressed last time. I am hoping for a better response to the meds this time. I go in on Wednesday for day 3 sono and bloodwork. Then I'll know if it's ok to start. I feel excited. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow. chriss

JEN - YES, WE WOULD FEEL VERY BLESSED IF WE WERE TO HAVE MULTIPLES. OF COURSE, THE BIGGEST CONCERN IN THAT REGARD IS HAVING HEALTHY BABIES. OF COURSE, HAVING AND RAISING MULTIPLES WOULD BE A HUGE CHALLENGE, BUT QUITE REWARDING, I'M SURE! IT'S JUST SO EARLY, I CAN'T GET EXCITED BECAUSE MY OPTIMISM IS VERY GUARDED. I THINK MANY (IF NOT MOST) OF US HERE HAVE EXPERIENCED AT LEAST ONE LOSS, NOT TO MENTION COUNTLESS DISAPPOINTMENTS. WE KEEP GETTING BACK ON THE HORSE & TRYING AGAIN & AGAIN, IN SPITE OF THE HEARTACHES WE SOMETIMES HAVE TO ENDURE. I DON'T MEAN TO BE NEGATIVE & I PRAY EVERY DAY, SEVERAL TIMES A DAY, FOR THE SAFE PROGRESSION OF THIS PREGNANCY. IT IS WONDERFUL TO HAVE THIS BOARD TO POST MY NEWS & FEELINGS BECAUSE NOT EVEN MY SISTERS, NOR MY CLOSEST FRIENDS EVEN KNOW I AM UNDERGOING TREATMENT.

CHRISS - I AM SO GLAD YOU ARE ABLE TO JUMP RIGHT BACK IN. GOOD LUCK! KEEP US POSTED ON YOUR PROGRESS.

Hi! to everyone

Okay I have to post fast---it's lunch time

If I've been remise, congrats to LuAnne and Socal on the BFPs.

Quickly, U/S showed a singleton :D with a heart beat :D
Still have OHSS hanging around and I know I sound contradictory when I say I wish my waist would decrease before baby fills my belly. I'm having a difficult time resolving in my mind that I went from a 27 in waist to 38 in seemingly overnight. All the clinic people keep saying but your pregnant. Yes I'm pregnant with fluid and only 0.3cm baby.
I am truely happy and DH and I really feel blessed at this point. I will return next week to have another U/S to make sure the fetus is growing appropriately.

wishing everyone all the best.

Must return to work.

Hi Ladies,

I can't believe that I have missed so much already just being absent for two days! Congratulations to all the positives in our over 40 crowd, you all give us so much hope! LuAnne, sure, sometimes I could not say I was more nervous or more happy, I think I had been always nervously happy during the whole pregnancy. Catharine, good to know that you are ok now, hope you can eat normally now. Socal, you must have a BFP with the increasing intensity of your line. Wow, so happy for all of you!

Chriss, glad to know that you are back on the tmt already. Good luck on your second cycle. As you know many of us have tried more than one time, hope to have your good news soon.

JenB, I must have missed your post about your accident. Sorry for that but please take a good rest.

Tammy, Eloise starts to screamly cry in the middle the night, 1~2 times per night in the past few nights, which mean ignoring her does not work anymore. I have to pick her up and stick nipples to her mouth. She was not hungry, in fact, she just wanted to feel me. I suspect that she senses that I am going to wean her soon and she just tries to get the most of her time. This makes me feel sad as I am going to stop breastfeeding her soon.

Kim, I am going to start my BCP as soon as my next AF, it can be in 10 days. Will keep you all posted, of course.

To all others that I missed, all the best to you all!

Yasmina, great to hear you are getting started again. You will not be too far behind me. Do you have some frozen or will you have to start a fresh cycle?

Hi Kim.,

Will do a frozen cycle this time, but may need to start fresh one early next year if it fails. I have still 5 embryos transferred from another facility to Nashville. I don't know whether they can survive the flight travel.

Take care,

JenB, hope you have a great time on your travel next week. Be safe. I do not mind at all helping to update the list if they need it.

Socal, did you have scan done today? Thinking of you. Good luck.

Yasmina, wow 5 frosties!! They really put alot of protection (frozen that is) into transporting eggs or sperm. Good luck. Keep us posted on dates and progress once you get started.

Love and hugs,
