hi ladies....hoping i could join you??

as you can see from my signature we got our BFP at our second attempt. we saw one healthy beanie last thursday (6 week scan) and have another one next week (8 week scan). then will be released to my GP.

i've been reading your posts but have been too scared to join as i don't want to jinx anything (if you know what i mean). but i've been suffering so badly with M/S that i thought i just have to join as i know so many of you are suffering too. i started just over a week ago when i was 5weeks 6 days and i've been feeling so awful. i throw up the minute i get up and then feel nauseous all day.

oh, i also was admitted with OHSS this time round and found out about the BFP whilst in hospital. i was discharged after 10 days. when i went for my scan last week they said my ovaries are still "massive" with fluids and that i should take time out to rest. so i've been signed off work for another 2 weeks! so i think that's definitely not helping me feel great.

anyway, just thought i would give you some history....i'm still trying to get to know you all but it seems we have a nice mixture of US and UK on this board! (i'm from the UK).

vlada - i can only imagine how you must be feeling right now and i was going to tell you to try not to worry but thats easier said than done. the good thing is they kept seeing a heartbeat so looks like you have a fighter in there! fingers crossed for your friday's scan.

Vlada, I am just sick with worry I am so sorry this is happening but like others have said that HB is there and as long as you follow your Dr's instructions I am sure everything will work out I will keep saying my prayers.

Hi Guys,
Thank you so much for your kind words, it means a lot to me. I am on bedrest, but i have my laptop with me, so i am able to post. Today i don't have any MS , so of course it makes me paranoyed , but unfortunately there is nothing i can do right now. I have not had any blleding since Sunday, just brown discharge (i think that is just left over from sunday). I am trying to be positive though. In ER they have measured the HB as 136, is this good?
Well, is it Friday yet? So hard to wait!

Vlad, I think that 136 is great that is really strong and they say that a higher fetal HB is a girl old wives tale of course but hey it's fun to think about, I also think it is a great sign that it has tappered of to a brown discharge. A lot of women have spotting and bledding in the first trimester just stay down and stay positive!

Hey Vlada... My heart sank as I read your first post about your ordeal but when I read that the baby's HB is so very strong and that the bleeding has pretty much stopped I felt a lot better - THIS IS OUR BABY TOO YOU KNOW!!!! and we worry about you and don't want you agonizing over anything!!! I am so glad you can post and "talk" to all your girls here. I hope it helps.

Your baby's HB is 136 and all the doc told me yesterday at my latest U/S was that both MY HBs were 120+ and the doc said it was totally healthy so 136 is super great!!! I am not sure how far along you are but I THINK you're due May 1st? 5th? I will pray for Friday to come fast for you. I will be home from work on Friday so I will be looking for your update after your U/S. Blessings to you...

Ahhhhh you guys are soooo sweet!!!! I am crying right now, it is so nice to know that people care. I will definitely let you know on Friday and it made me feel better that you think that the HB measure is good. Now, i just hope the blood that is around the baby will somehow go away. My doc said that i might have another bleed because of the hemoratage (spelling?) i hope not, may be my body can absorb it....
Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your support.

Quick update, i am bleeding again, it is not as much as last time but quite a bit. I called my doc and i am going to see him again tomorrow .

Rebecca, that is wonderful, let us know how it goes!!! Good luck!!!
I went to my doc today and the HB is 141 now, the baby has grown, but there is just so much blood around the sack, so i am at a very high risk of miscarriage. I am on a very strict bedrest untill Monday.
I hope everybody is doing good with their babies!!!!!

Vlada I am so sorry you have to go through such a stress right now. I am thinking about you and hoping that everything will go well for you and your little munchkin. Bed rest must be hard; I hope you have plenty of good reading material around the bed and some good movies to watch. Thinking about what is going on and worrying will not help...I hope that you can sleep at night

Hi ladies,

Things have been busy here in my neck of the woods sorry i have not been posting...... morning sickness has been pretty bad. It hit like a tonof bricks over the weekend and hasnot gone away. i can not eat anything but carbs ................ everything else makes me sick to my stomach..... thankgod the carbs are staying down..... Hope all is well with everyone.... my belly is growing already we went for our 8 week sono on monday and the Re said both babies LOOK GREAT............. like music to my ears to hear that................ we have our 1st ob appt in the morning i will let everyone know how it goes........

Thank you guys for your support. I am bedresting right now, my MS is better, so i can finally eat . Of course it is very boring , but it is the best i can do for my baby right now, therefore i am not complaining.
Lisa, i am sorry you have MS, i know how hard it is, carbs shoud help though.
