WTH is going on with me???

Back on 8/24 I got my 2nd beta back my first was 24 and second was 29, it has been three weeks since and I have not started my cycle. I went for my follow up on this past friday and my RE took lots of blood to give my the full make over. I just received a call and they said everything is great but my beta went up to 1,100. WTH is going on? Can I be pg? The RE wants me in tomorrow for an ultrasound tomorrow I guess to see whats going on, but not I'm freaked because I've been drinking a lot and have stop all meds including prenatals. Anyone have a clue what I should expect? I am not going to get my hopes up but I kinda knew this was gonna happen.

OMG Town that is the strangest thing I have ever heard I hope you go in tomorrow and find out that you are prego. I wouldn't worry about the dinking biz think of all the regular pregnancies those women don't even find out until they are 4-6 wks along so you will be fine but I would lay off until you get a final answer from the RE tomorrow good luck!

I think that's potentially wonderful news. I don't want to give too much false hope, but it sounds like you're pregnant.
I also say dont worry about drinking & not taking meds. Like Alian said, normal pregnancies women don't even know until about 6 weeks & have been out living normal lives.

towncity ur pregnat.....definitely......i have also a situation here i have 8.57 yesterday and my er just dont give up instead she gv me a shot of pregnyl,now i'm 133.7 is it a big jump.....truly im into limbo now all i have to do is pray that this is for real....im happy for you....that miracles do happen.....have an enjoyable 9m0s....

Just got back from the RE, based on the sono results and my blood work i'm about 4 weeks pg. The kicker is my transfer was on 8/10 so its either a really slow learner and I will eventually miscarry or we made out own little miracle!!! They want me back next week to see if there is any progress my Dr. is not optimistic but stranger things have happened.

WOW - what a tough position to be in Town!!!! i can only imagine --- you WANT nothing more than to be excited about it all - but cautious because of statistics......i get that -- i really do

Given you hCG values, I'd imagine they looked very carefully for other implantation sites during your ultrasound?

WOW!! Congratulations seems in order?! If you don't mind me asking....what prompted you to do IVF? Male issues....female...unexplained?

dh is perfect very high sc, me on the other hand have a cist on my right ovary and severe endo so I have been the problem for the last few years. We skipped trying Clomid because I just got better ins coverage and we were tired of the waiting game.

I am trying to be very skeptical but maybe I have a little miracle growing, either way I just am trying to be positive but cautious so my heart doesn't get broken again.

I forgot to post the hcg from today it went from 1172 to 2900 in less than a week. My Dr's are really scratching their heads on this one.
