Hi Tracey Thanks for starting the thread for me, I will certainly let you all know how I get on. Remember though its not till 14:00 so I won't have information in the morning so don't panic. Hi Girls I am so sorry if I have sent you all in a panic didn't mean to. Everything went well even though the baby was playing up. They needed to do all the measurements but it just wouldn't keep still so they could get the right spot they wanted. Would you believe it took them 30 minutes to complete the scan but I tell you those 30 minutes it was so nice to see my little one on the screen. I told them that I didn't want to know what it was and they said well the little tinker has its legs crossed. Then about 10 mins later its legs was kicking for all it was worth. They said that we have a very active baby but they found it quite comical that it was moving around like it was, hands behind its head and hands everywhere it was so amazing. They say from what they can see everything looks fine, according to the scan picture it says I am 20wks 2 d but they haven't said any different so I will keep it at 20 wks. Tracey your next on Monday, keeping it all crossed on you now, the only thing is I won't be around cus I go away on Saturday so will be dying to know how you get on but have to wait a week. Shell how amazing - 30 mins and what a tinker - who does it take after - you??? You must be thrilled - shopping and nursery here you come - me to go now - hope all ok with me. Baby is moving around more now and it is like alien alert inside - the flutters and tickles have turned more like a fizzing sensation and are stronger - are yours? Hi Girls How bizarre I have just come back from the midwife she as read the report from the hospital. The calculations was I was 20wks yesterday, the midwife confirms that I am now down as 20wks 4d today only thing I can't understand she is not changed my EDD? Tracey I would love to hear from you, I will mail you my mobile number. Oh well must go back to packing my case, catch up with you soon. Love Shell. Now is it 20wks 1d or do I go with what the midwife says 20wks 4d?? xx

Shell have e mailed you. Not an expert on dates etc but in the first trimester they all develop at exactly the same rate I believe so they can EDD us on those scans. Then they develop differently and some a bit faster than others at different times so your 20.4 is probably on size but they won't nec adjust your EDD as that is probably accurate - it is after all an expected date. For any of you who reckon I am talking a load of cobblers you are no doubt right and feel free to tell me so Love Tracey xxx

Dear Shell, I was so glad to read that everything was ok for your 20 week scan - it's so amazing how quickly everything is happening in there! Sounds like yours will be a right kickboxer or footballer in later life! Hope you had a lovely and relaxing holiday. And Tracey - good luck for yours on Monday - are you going to find out re the sex? Think I am, if only becaure names are proving to be a real problem. I'm a bit behind you two, so my 20 week scan is on the 24th September. I can't believe it really - it only seems like a couple of weeks ago when I was on the other side of the board! Hope everyone else is fit and well, lots of love, Sally xxxx

Dear Shell - phew, so pleased it all went okay! Sounds more active than mine!! Mine doesn't wake up until I've had some food!! It's so amazing seeing everything isn't it? I wouldn't worry about the size - mine was at the large end of the scale, but they didn't adjust my dates either. I guess it will come out when it's ready. Have a great holiday.
