Ingrid,
Thanks for all of the kind words and support. I think I will be ok to post here. If it gets too bad, I'll let you know.

Do you have any plans for the weekend? Did Notre Dame Play? We watched the WVU game today, but other than that, our schedule is open. We'll probably just hang out at home and let DH recover. He is doing better. He is still somewhat sore and pretty swollen. I've been making fun of him. He's a little lopsided! I know, I'm mean. I'm sure he'll get me back. I had to work last night, and then come home and cook for the game. We had a few people over, and the stupid thing started at 11am. I'm sure I'll sleep tonight.

How is everything going with you? Have you had trouble with mood swings yet? Hopefully (for you and Erik) you will have few side effects. What is next on the agenda for you?

The dining room table that I want is from Pottery Barn. I want the Montego table and the Tucker buffet. I can't remember the name of the chairs. I have had my eye on them for a while. DH thinks the whole house should've been decorated as soon as we moved in. It will be 3 yrs. in Dec. and we pretty much have everything in order. They just don't understand.

Again, thanks for everything. I wish I could've gone through the whole process with you, but everything happens for a reason. We're pretty fun loving, so as soon as he heals we'll be much better off. Our anniversay is 9/11, so he had better recover. No excuses for not taking me out to dinner!! Talk to you later.

Christi,

Notre Dame SUCKS!!!! I am glad your team is doing well - DH says they have a pretty GOOD team! You have a lot of energy!

I love the montego table - that is what I originally wanted with the havana chairs. They are pretty original looking. We decided on doing a custom table and chairs (ladderback) due to the configuration of our dining room (long and narrow).

I stopped bcps on Saturday, went to acu, got AF, got worried, called the nurse, she said that was going to happen (nobody told me)... Worrying is not necessary in this whole process! So, I better keep reminding myself to just stay POSITIVE!!!!
I go for my US and E2 on Wednesday and hopefully start stim meds that day.

Happy Anniversary!!! That is my Mom's birthday also. DH and I are going to a taping of Jerry Springer (I could just see your reaction now)... and then rushing home to host a dinner and cake (small family get together) for my Mom.

Hope all is well and have a wonderful time tomorrow!

Ingrid,
I'm sorry about your team. I saw some footage of the game on ESPN. Maybe they'll do better. We do seem to have a good team, but there have been years when we totally sucked so I know how you feel. The games just get harder from here, so we'll see how it goes.

I have a book that has a IVF schedule in it, and the girl got AF after she had been on Lupron and BCPs. They told her to watch for it because it would be very light. It sounds like everything is going just like it should so try to take it easy right now. You know the real worrying is yet to come. I'll be here to support you. I am very excited for you. Let me know what they say after your labs and US.

I loved the Havana chairs. The wood work on them was just beautiful. I would've gotten them if the seats had been solid. I was afraid, with my nieces, that they would get dirty. I was also afraid that they might fray or something. We actually ordered the filagree chairs the other night. I liked the Havana chairs alot better though.

We drove to Charlotte Monday eve. and went to Pottery Barn yesterday and bought the table. DH was very sweet. He let me shop and then took me out to dinner. He had a business trip today in Virginia, so I just stayed with him. We'll be going home tomorrow. I have to work.

How was Jerry Springer? That is hilarious. JERRY...JERRY...JERRY!! I hope you made it out alive. I can't wait to hear what the topic was. I just hope it wasn't someone from WV!

Hope your mom had a nice birthday. We always have family birthday parties too. Well, DH has to have a big party. He starts talking about it 6 months in advance.

Let me know how things go. It won't be long before those eggs start to grow. I have alot of PMA for you.

DELAY

Post by albany07 »

Well, we have a delay. Our cycle was cancelled and will probably start in late October again. We never fully got a reason for our low count, so I made an appt. for DH with a different Urologist - hopefully it is something we can fix. If so, this may be a message from god! For us to wait and do it on our own... you never know. They say miracles really do exist! If not we will continue with IVF in late October like I mentioned above.

All is ok though, I had a martini with DH tonight... 1st in 2 months!!! It was really, really, really good.

Thank you for being there for me and I wish you and DH eternal love, laughter and happiness!

Enjoy that beautiful dining room suite and your fabulous vacation! May WVA have a winning season! They are doing pretty well tonight! We are cheering on Slayton and White! Go Mountaineers Go!

Ingrid,
I am so disappointed to hear that. Was it your US or was the cancellation because of DH? I thought that is why you were doing ICSI. I think you are wise to get a 2nd opinion. Believe me, I know how you feel. DH and I keep the thought that it wasn't meant to happen for some reason. For us, it is for good, but for you, it is just for right now. If you don't get BFP on your own, late October will be here before you know it. It is just hard to get so excited about it, and then have a hang up. I know you have had setbacks before, and it just isn't fair. If I can help in any way, please let me know. If you would rather not post here I understand. If you would rather pm me, email me, or not write for a while, just tell me. I just don't want you to feel worse. You and Erik are in my thoughts.

Have fun with the martinis. I went crazy at first. I had alcohol, caffiene and chocolate. Just about everything I had cut out of my diet! I've calmed down now. I'm keeping it under control. I've heard that being a fat, hyper, lush isn't very becoming!!

I had to work last night, so I watched the game in an empty pt's room. I was working with one of my fellow Montaineer fans, so we had as much fun as possible. It's just hard when they screw up not to yell or say inappropriate words. I hope they can keep up the good work.

Keep the PMA going. Let me know how you are. Remember, fall is your favorite season. Maybe your about to find out why.
