Movement in Twins? Paranoid...

Post by karno1 »

Hi!

I am 19 weeks tomorrow with first preggers and twins. I am nervous b/c I don't think i have felt the kiddo's move yet. I haven't gotten bigger boobs, a linea nigrea, anything other than looking like I have gained 8 lbs on my abdomen.

I am freaking b/c I am so nervous about this pregnancy

Thanks
Karen

I had twins and I didn't feel anything at all until 20 weeks and even then I wasn't sure. When I hit 22 weeks, then I started to feel them move more often. I was worried too, as I thought I should feel them earlier because they were twins, but that isn't true for most women. Don't worry, a month from now you will feel their little flutters.

I am glad someone else didn't feel thier twins either! I guess I assume that since there are 2, I should feel them faster than single children. This makes me feel better.

Take care

We are also in the same boat - having twins and waiting for the movement.

Until this morning, my wife had not felt a thing and we were starting to get worried. Out of the blue, while waiting to get a table at this breakfast place, she felt "something" and then felt it again couple of times since then. She is not sure if this is the fluttering due to baby movement but we are hopeful and will keep a watch.

From what I have read on the Internet, first time moms can feel their babies move as late at 22 weeks. So, just hang in there.

I felt a lil flatter around 19 weeks, but the real movements around 22 weeks. So don't worry, you will feel them move pretty soon.

I admire you've only gained 8 pounds in 19 weeks.
I've gained 7 going on 8 in the past 4 weeks...no M/S so maybe that's why, but still...you sound like you look terrific!
Best of luck...
