jennik: first of all, sorry for your bfn --- i can relate as i recently got bfn w/ round #1 ivf/icsi for me as well  i'm also a MI gal.... maybe we talked before -- dont' remember --- what doc/clinic are you going to?? my situation is/was VERY similar to yours.......my first beta = 15 ---- which meant TECHNICALLY, i got bfp......but my doc warned me right from the getgo --- warning against my excitement because unless it doubled (and then some) on next bw --- then a chemical pregnancy resulting in bfn.....said the same thing though -- that my little embie didn't/wasn't able to implant.....and so round #2 for us he plans to administer some kind of med (he said it was a blood thinner of some kind???) post ET that increases/helps w/ implanting.....oh - and i go to ivf michigan --- dr. shamma --- LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i go to office in ypsilanti (ann arbor) - but he has offices all over state.... including in toledo, oh.......

anyway......good luck to you on your next cycle ---- i'll be hoping for your BFP!!!!!!!!! (you'll have to let me know if your doc doing anything different w/ your med protocol to help w/ the implantation????)

Hi Angie (ICSI GIRL)!
We we have spoken before. I live in Grand Rapids and am seeing Dr. Daly at Grand Rapids Fertility.

Well I started AF today so I will call my doctor on Monday and we'll get started again on the FET. I'm not as nervous about this as I'm reading that it's not as hard as the fresh cycle.

I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN! I'm praying that you too get a BFP on your next attempt. When are you starting? What will your protocol be? I don't know anything about mine. All I know is that since I choose the natural cycle I won't have to do the Progesterone shots twice a day but that was really all he said besides call the office when AF arrives. He also did say that they could cancel my cycle should the transfer date fall on a Sunday as they won't come in on Sundays. OMG! I know that the chance is slim but it would be my luck. I also worry about the thawing process. I have 5 embies; 3 8-cell, 2 4-cell and they aren't perfect I think he said 1 was perfect and mine were 2's (he said the scale went to 5 being the worst). I know all clinics have different rating scales so it can get confusing.

I would love to hear about others who have done the FET and what their protocols were and how many eggs they had to thaw. Thanks!
