OK girls....just got my report.

They actually got 48 eggs - of those - 31 were mature. They did Icsi on all of them and 19 fertilized. The remaining ones that were immature were all put in a dish with my DH's swimmers and 1 of them fertilized. So right now....I have 20 fertilized embies. She said that usually 30% go on to divide successfully and make it to transfer.

So..... transfer is scheduled for Fri at 11:30. I won't get another update until then. I just need to make sure I feel OK to transfer.

I'll keep you all updated!

Donnell - That is great!!!! So how are you feeling???

Hello, My period ended on Thursday. I had my US and Bloodwork done on Sunday. The DR noticed there was fluid in my uterus. He said it could be left over blood that didn't come out. Sorry to over share. He said that if it didn't absorb on its own or come out on its own that he would remove it.

Would that affect implantation? anyone hear of this before?
I am worried! I go back tomorrow to the DR.

Wow Donnell, that's amazing. Didn't you say they wanted you to use an egg donor? You could be and egg donor! I can't wait to find out how many fertilized and how many you can freeze. Good luck on Fri.

I'm not sure how that all works, but I'm sure it's fine. Don't worry. I'm sure they have to do it all the time. Let us know what happens.

Dr called today all 3 embies still good to go. They said they were all Code 1 embryos. Planning on a 3 day transfer tomorrow, given that all goes well with the embies between now and then.

Hi Girls!

I'm just dropping a quick line to say I had my ET today and they transferred two blasts, grade AA and AB and are going to let the other two go til tomorrow to freeze.

Donnell, WOW I can't believe how many eggs they got, no wonder you are in pain!! Keep youself relaxed and pampered til friday! It will be a good day for a ET I just know it

Donna, I haven't heard of that before, you are in my prayers, hang in there!

Lacy, I'm glad they didn't cancel your cycle, that's awesome! So many bumps in the road going thru all this, hugh!?! I'm sending hugs and pma's you way

Christie, how are the stims going? are your headaches any less yet???

This is going to be a LONG two weeks!!!! I get tested on the 26th.

Hi gals,

I'm using donor eggs since my eggs fail to mature (found out the hard way via 3 IVF cycles). My RE is currently working to match up our cycles and it looks like the retrieval date will be 10/24 and the transfer date will be 10/27. Glad to be in good company!

.... I'm still on stims ... Friday (CD 9) I go for another US & BW and will get further instructions (when ER will be) ... I've also went for acupuncture today .... and been eating pineapple till it comes out my ears

Christie, I too have asthma, and (thank goodness) haven't had any attacks since starting the meds ... (been trying to not use my asthma meds and hopefully won't need to use them much while pregnant)

I did get massive headaches from the Lupron though .... yipes!!!!! I couldn't even stand to listen to myself talk

... it's better now
though

Donna, if the Dr. didn't seem too concerned about it then try not to worry yourself ... maybe it's nothing out of the ordinary .. all the best for you at your next appointment

Hi Ladies,
Hope you don't mind me jumping in here to ask you all a few questions...? At the moment, I'm waiting to start lucky #3. I was hoping, as most of you are in the midst or at the end of your tmt, that you might be able to help me.
Could you tell me, at what points during your current treatment did your RE do bloodtests and what did they test for each time (like estrogen, anything else)?
I only ask because during each of my tmts, I haven't had any additional bloodtests taken, which seems unusual from what I've read on this board -- So, it is something I wanted to ask him about before I begin again, hopefully in Oct or Nov--

Welcome Amy.

I had blood work done on day 21 to see if I ovulated. If you are on birth control, they might not do that. Then, I started Lupron. When I got my period I called and went in on day 2 of my cycle for progesterone and estradiol tests and a baseline ultrasound. Then, I started my stims. I went again on day 5 of stimming to have my estradiol checked. I went again today on day 7 of stimming for my estradiol and another ultrasound. I'm pretty sure I'll have my estradiol checked every time I go from now on. Hope that helps.

For everyone else that has had their ultrasounds done, is it normal for them not to tell you anything after the ultrasound? I asked her if she could tell me anything and she said no. Then, she said I had some follicles and I was moving along, but that was it. I'm hoping the nurse will tell me more when they call me later today. I'm so nervous that I'm not progressing like I should be.

Hi Christie,

At our dr office there was actually a sign posted in the dressing room that said the ultrasound tech was not able to give any information out and that we had to wait for a phone call after the dr. reviewed it. It's frustrating having them do all that without asking questions but I wouldn't fret over it, they will give you all the info after reviewing it. Hang in there

Hello,
I went to the DR. this morning. He said most of the fluid is gone from my uterus. He said its left over AF and that my uterus is absorbing it. He said nothing to worry about. We found about 8 follicles around 12-14 MM. I go back friday. Looks like retrieval day will be Sunday or Monday.

I hope you are all doing well, and hanging in there!!
