Well, I just got the call from the dr.'s office. They said my #'s are still low and they want to add Repronex in starting tomorrow morning. I have to go back on Sat. for bw/us. I have this horrible feeling they are going to cancel my cycle. The same exact thing happened to a friend of mine. I'm freaking out a little. I'm going to pray that my #'s go up by Sat. I'm trying to stay positive.

Christie - Don't worry until you get the dreaded call from YOUR DOCTOR - not the doctor's office. You don't have anything to worry about until you hear his voice on the other end. I'm sure the repronex will work and you will progress as planned. Worrying does not help at this stage of the game! Your going to throw all your hormones off by stressing!!! Let the meds do thier job, you do your job (not stress) and grow those follies! They can't wait to meet thier friends "sperms"!!!!

BTW... what are they saying at this point? Were you oversuppresed??

Thanks Ingrid.

I know, I know. I need to relax and not freak out just yet. I didn't get much sleep last night and was up at 5:45am this morning. I just need a nap. All the nurse told me is that my #'s are still low and they are giving me the Repronex to try to raise my estradiol. I didn't even ask about the ultrasound. I read online somewhere that giving yourself the stims in your stomach is better than your thighs. It gets absorbed better. Has anyone else heard that? I'll try anything, so I'll only do the Lupron in my thighs and see if that helps. Who knows? I'm nervous because my friend was put on Repronex and then they had to cancel her cycle because she wasn't responding. All her tests were normal before she started the stims, like me. I know everyone is different, but it still makes me nervous. I'm trying to be positive. I just need some sleep and see what they say on Sat. If my #'s are still not up, then I'll know something is wrong. That will be day 10 of stimming. I'm sure I'll feel better later on. Thanks for the kind words.

Christie - good get some rest - you need it. What on earth were you doing until 5:45. I am pretty stubborn myself but I don't think I'd be able to pull that one off! :) Don't worry - you will be fine. I just know it! Do the visualization stuff and create a ticker! You know, those tickers at the bottom of the screen - it's such a pain in the *&^ - it will keep you busy for quite a while until you figure out how to do it and then you will be changing them everyday!!!! Try to keep your head up and get plenty of rest!

I must be pretty annoying with this good attitude stuff, huh???

I am going to Wisconsin Dells with my husband tonight for an extended weekend and not promising to check back in until Sunday Night.

For all the girls which will have ET on those days - I am holding you in my thoughts and prayers. I have special telegrams going out to the storks also... I know... I am very, very corny!

Hugs and special sparkly baby dust to all!!!!

Thanks Ingrid. The PMA is great. I need to get over my bad mood and move on. It's not the end of the world. I had to get up at 5:45am today. I wasn't up until 5:45am. I haven't done that in a while:) I couldn't sleep last night, so I'm sooo tired today. I can't wait to go to bed tonight.

Have fun this weekend! Enjoy yourself.

Hi ladies~

This thread has gotten so big it is hard to keep up with personals. I just want each and every one of you to know - I am reading about you, praying for you (I hope no one minds) and am with you every step of the way.

That being said good luck and lots of rest for those who recently transfered. I am getting so excited :)

Those still stimming - yay! Grow follies grow. I am watching your progress. I just know that in the end you will all respond well.

Those just starting, welcome. The ladies here are wonderful and have been a mountain of support for me. Just to be able to share my experiences and learn from everyone else has been wonderful.

Well....I am still extremely bloated - but feeling a little better. I went back to work today and it was tough working 12 hours - now I am off to the hospital to visit my sister. No change with her by the way. So I will get my progesterone shot, take my antibiotic and steriod - then drink my protein shake and my millionth gatorade. Transfer Friday at 11:30!

~Lots of love - growing follies and sticky baby dust!

Well, I had my transfer yesterday. Transferred all 3. Doc said that there was some fragmentation, but developmentally were still okay. So I will take that and hope for the best. Everything went fine and was uneventful, continue on bed rest today. Does anyone have any stories of not so perfect embryos resulting in a live birth?

How are the progesterone shots going for everyone. Any advice? That's the only thing that I'm really concerned about with this whole IVF thing. I'm such a baby.

Good luck with the transfer Donnell. Good luck to everyone else that is going in for their ER/ET.

I got a good night's sleep last night, so I'm in a much better mood today. I started 150 units of Repronex today. What a pain having to mix them. I was spoiled with the Gonal-F pen. It did hurt more than the other shots. It burned pretty bad after for a while. I just kept rubbing it and that helped.

I found out that the Gonal-F pens are overfilled and that I did what I was supposed to do. I'm sure I've screwed them up a few times, but I'm sure that's to be expected. I'm not a professional:)

Hope everyone is having a good day. Who will be testing first? I can't wait to see how many BFPs we get. I'm praying for everyone.

Welcome Becky, This has been a great board for support! Join in as much as ya can :D

Hey Christie,

I was a basket case over getting those progesterone shots and let me tell you it's not as bad as what you think. My advise, Ice it real good for about 4 minutes beforehand and it won't be so bad. You will feel pressure with all that oil going in cause it's thick but it's really not as terrible as it seems. Another thing, if I look at the needle right before, I get more squeemish and I moved once, don't look at it , and it is much better :D :D Picture your baby in your head as you get it also :D :D Rub it for about a minute afterwards.

Donnell, GOOD LUCK WITH TRANSFER, I'm praying for you :D

I go for my first test on 9/26 next Wednesday , if its BFP then they will test again in two days to make sure my levels are rising if it's negative they will schedule a phone conference w/my dr. I'm trying not to obsess but it's hard!

HI Ladies,

It's so good to hear some of the positive stories! Good luck to all you ladies my prayers are with you all.

update: I began the Lupron shots on Monday so far no problems. I would normally start my AF on Friday but I am assuming that the Lupron will push things back a little??? I've had some trouble with headaches, it's so difficult they tell me to only take Acetametophine (Tylenol) no Ibuprofon but Tylenol just doesn't seem to work for me. Today is the first day since Monday with no headache (YEAH) I'm hoping I just needed to get used to the meds and it will be clear sailing for the Lupron from here on out. My doctor says to reduce stress it's been so difficult this week. My father had bypass surgery and has been in intensive care for the last two days. I'm so afraid that all this added streess will reduce my chances. He is doing well today so a little relief.

So many of you have such a large number of follies (congrats) it makes me wonder. While doing IUI with Repronex I usually only had 1-3 per cycle does this mean I will produce a small number during IVF as well??

I truley appreciate having a place to share this experience and to listen to others who are experiencing the same.

Lots of Baby Dust to you all ..................

Hi everyone!!!!
Just had the ET today and all went well. Transferred the best 2 of the 22 that fertilized (both AA quality). We'll wait til tomorrow to freeze the best of the remaining, hopefully 8 or 9 for the future. Now i've just got to make myself rest - really hard to do though, i want to keep checking in with work. DH is adamant that i not answer an email or phone call over the next 3 days. Obviously tomorrow will be hard...

Those progesterone shots are not as bad as i expected, a little muscle soreness but alternating cheeks :-) helps and for those using oil try running the vial under warm water or holding it in your hand for a little bit (maybe while icing your arse) and the oil will inject faster. Got that bit of advice from the DR yesterday - could have used it a couple of days ago! DH's thumb was getting sore.

Hope everyone is doing well - lots of sticky baby dust for all of you!!!!

Wow - so many people have already transfered and Kelly - testing is already coming up for you. Are you going to do a HPT???

I am so excited for all of us. Christie - I have been on progesterone for 3 days now - I have to do 1 cc twice a day - one cheek in the morning and 1 cheek at night. I am a little sore, but it isn't so bad. I do jump a little everytime DH gives it to me. I don't ice it or warm it up though. Maybe later I will try that.

I will check in after transfer tomorrow.

Take care ladies!
