Hi Ladies, happy Thursday, hope all is well.

Gill, thinking of you. Take care, hugs xx

Carolyn, welcome back. Glad you liked IM. It's an impressive place isn't it? Dr Walker is great, you are in good hands. It won't be long now until you are back and those embies will be snuggling in for the duration. I will mention ovarian reserve test to my friend, thanks.

Jen 1 , IM may have looked at my lining during ET but they didn't mention the thickness. The previous scan showed it was over 7mm and they seemed happy with that. I'm sure all will be fine for you. Good luck with the scan tomorrow. I'm 'thinking thick' for you xx

Vicki, thanks for your response to my query, much appreciated. I am seeing my friend next week and will do my best to support her. Hope you Ok.

Sonix, way to go...full steam ahead. Hope scan went OK today and your headache has gone.

Hello to Rebecca, good luck with this cycle. Telling friends and family can be hard, well done to you.

Jen B, hope a good time was had in Glasgow. Not long to go now!

As for us, we are fine. I met a new mum today who had also been to Barcelona for DE tmt. We had been put in touch with each other by our GP. We have been emailing for a while and actually got to meet each other face to face today. it was lovely to meet her, in the same situation and same age bracket (she is 46) Her little girl is 9 weeks old and adorable. Keep the faith girls, there are lots of succes stories out there :D

Hi to all lovely ladies here
Bye for now

hello brave ladies,

sorry I haven't posted for so long - I've been stalking but sometimes feel too sick to stay on the computer for too long.

Jen1d, good luck with your scan today.

Carolyn, welcome back - you're nearly there and I look forward to hearing all about your journey to that BFP.

so things have been a bit crazy for me...all was going well until Saturday when I felt horrible. I assumed it was just M/S but I started to cramp up and feel dizzy. In the evening I started to bleed and it got heavier through the night. I honestly thought it was all over. The bleeding stopped on Sunday but so did the MS so I was completely paranoid. Went to the clinic on Monday morning (after fainting in teh shower and cutting my backside.....another story) and the two beanies were fine - growing and beating their little hearts as if nothing had happened! the blood clot was still there so no one has a clue where the blood came from. Checked myself into my bed for most of this week as I am petrified that the bleeding will start again but so far it's stayed away and i feel a lot stronger.

It's mad, we worry so much that we won't get good eggs or frosties, then that hurdle over we worry that they won't fertilise, then that they won't implant, then that they won't stay implanted .... do we stop worrying when they turn 18 and leave home?? I guess this is what's called parenthood!

anyway, I'm now 7 weeks and 3 days and have my next scan on Monday.

sending all my love to all of you and really can't wait to have you join me on the paranoia and nausea train on this side of the HCG test.

Hi to all i have missed x x x

I had a great but very busy week in Glasgow...fun times at CPD ( continued professional Development) meeting up with old collegues. And a fab night out afterwards. i am totally exausted though and didnt sleep to well last night as i wass too cold. Suddenly it's Autumn here  and very windy. Have a busy one today. Im were meant to have sent out BCpills for me ( i am still on double and no futher bleeds) They sent them on Monday but as yet no pills. I need them for saturday night so luckily i am at the GP today to sort out scan ( still have no date but i feel approx 2-2half weeks) at the most IM said i would be on BC pills for 5 wks ( now at 4 wks) so expect off them end of next week...BUT how many weeks have i been saying that   if you thought about all this you would easily drive yourself nuts...best to just go with the IM flow so to speak.
Anyawy off to work now so gotta go.

love to ya all

Hi

Anna- :D Sorry I couldnt help with the question about your friend, when I found out my eggs were poor quality and there weren't many they just told me my only option was egg donation. How lovely for you to meet up with another IM mum, your GP sounds great for thinking of setting it up for you to get to know each other. Glad Mattew is well. x

Vicki- :D All the best with the revising, hope its going well.

JenB- :D Welcome home, glad you had a great time in Glasgow and enjoyed meeting up with old friends. So pleased that the bleeding is under control not long now hun, how are you feeling?

Sonia- :D Hope that you did manage to have a relaxing holiday and that you are feeling ready for the next stage of tmt.

Rebecca(rhalloo) :D -Good luck, sounds like you will be starting tmt soon. How nice to see a photo of your donor, I think its lovely that you have an idea of what your baby will look like. Your tmt is very expensive but glad your insurance will pay for meds, every little helps!

Carolyn- :D I have been keeping an eye on you and how you got on in Big B. I am so pleased for you that it went well and its fantastic news that you can start tmt so soon. Now you just need to slow down a bit! Thanks so much for all your lovely emails x

Jen1- :D So pleased that your lining has thickened up nicely for those little embies! Only a week to go, how are you feeling? Take care babe x

Rebecca- :D So pleased that you and your beanies are ok after your scare,It must have been terrifying :? . Hope you are resting and taking it easy x

Sorry to those I've missed, hope you are all well.

We have been in touch with IM trying to find out what our next steps will be.There are a couple of options but we have a lot to think about and sort out before we decide so I wont change my ticker until we have decided what we are going to do. Thanks again for all your kind words and for thinking of me.

Take care
Lots of love
