hi i posted y'day about day 3 bloods well i have been to get the results and i've started the menopause, i'm devastated i don't know how i managed to drive home,they need one more day 3 test to confirm for sure but my result was 23 and at the most it should have been 12. they said to discuss it further when i get my next result to see if it's worth spending 4k, or try it and see how many follicles i get and be prepared to stop half way through the cycle if i dont respond. the hardest thing is that endo has ruled my life for so long and we now have the money to spend on treatment and this happens to me at the age of 38. i have struggled through for so many yrs shed tears had 7 op's on my tummy for endo, had load of iui's and ivf's and it's all been for nothing, i have put off having a hyst in the hope of being a mother, i've had people close to me avoiding me cos they were pregnant, i have tried now for 15 yrs and within a few short words all my hope has been taken .

i am so sorry to hear your news...as you say you must be grief striken.
there are no words that can take your pain away but when the time comes if you want there are other roads you can go down.

I myself was in the same situation that you are going through and if you click onto the Eggheads thread you will find may more ladies in the same situation. From 38 -39 i took a year out of ivf and had Donor egg counselling to work through my grief. now i am on the road to another ivf with donor eggs... There is hope for the future and much help is available from these lovely girls on the boards...
