I am new to this Chat Room. I wasn't quite sure where to start! I have been looking at some of your posts and i see a lot of 'relatable' stories. I also noticed quite a few happy ladies with their BFP's!! Woo hoo!!! Congrats!! My DH and i are going for our very 1st IVF in Octobers cycle after LOTS of failed Clomid cycles and 3 failed IUI's.
Anyone who would like to join me through this part of our journey..please do!!

Yay!! I'm also new to this chat room, this is also my 1st round of IVF, and I'm starting Lupron tomorrow (Sunday)!! So, it's nice to have "cycle buddies" that have close to the same schedule!! We can stress about this together!

Hi everyone,
Tomorrow I will be starting my birth control pills for 2 weeks. My egg retrieval will take place the week of the 29th. It is a miracle my husband and I even have this chance. I have been battling cervical cancer since January.
I was going to have a hysterectomy a month ago and all the sudden the cancer was under control. We were sure we would never have a child of our own. I am so excited, but also really afraid that this may be our only chance.
Good luck with everything!!! I hope we all get what we want!!!!
I am also new here. I am doing my 2nd round of ivf in October. I am on bcp now, will see RE next week to discuss date. It looks like the end of October for retrieval and transfer. I am happy to find cycle buddies.

I start BCP's TODAY and I would love to be a part of this thread with you all. This is my first IVF also. I am scared, excited, and nervous!
My hysteroscopy is next Thursday in the morning.

i would also like to be a part of this thread with all of you. this is my 5th and final ivf and i too am scared, but hopeful. i have a 2 yr old son via ivf and know that it can work...turns out our miracle came more quickly than some. i have been on bc for 2 wks and should be getting my dates next week. expecting them to be in mid to late oct. hope you all are hanging in there...
I am in So Cal...San Diego to be exact. I am with Dr. Arlene Morales. She is a little quirky but really nice. She is really respected in the RE community...... is always in a lot of studies etc......
Looks like everyone is movin' right along! As for me, I am on Lupron, and taking my last BCP tomorrow. One less med to take!! I can handle that! I wish everyone here the best, and hopefully all have BFP's!! Think positive!!

fhl-i bet you're glad to be done with bcp! i hate them! throughout this process i put on and lose 7-10 lbs. i've read that it common. when do you start your stimming?
wbam & gekasbaby- nice to have people in your area going through the same thing and comparing notes on drs. is nice too.
do you ladies know yet when your dates are?
I just started my BC today for 14 days. I am scehduled to start Lupron injections on October 8th with a possible retrieval on 27 October. We are doing the Shared Risk and have to use ICSI because of DH sperm morphology.
I've been taking the prenatals faithfully for the past month and have been doing Accupuncture for the past three weeks (once a week).
I'm hoping we all get BFPs!!!!
