Love, good luck with your upcoming ER. Spoil yourself in the next few days, you and your little embies deserve it!

HI Donnell, I'm going to try not to do a hpt. I've heard it's a bad idea, I'm not sure when the best time to do one would be since it seems like I am getting tested pretty early on anyhow... We'll see how I can stand it, I dread seeing that negative line so I hate to be depressed any longer than I would have to, I figure I may as well wait for the blood work , ya know...? :? Do you think you will take one?

Lisa, WOW, sounds like you have some pretty good odds! Yeah for you!

Hi Ladies,
Went to the DR again tis morning and I go again tomorrow. We have 1 at 18MM and several at 17 mm. Hoping to get those follies to 20MM to do ER. It will be Monday or Tuesday.

The fluid is my uterus is completely gone and my uterine lining is 12 mm. I can't believe its all happening now! I am emotional from these shots. Crying at tv shows. Two days ago my estrogen level was 2200. I bet its over 3 thousand now! I am bloated!! I look 6 months prego!!

ER will probably be Monday. If not, Tuesday. I see you are all doing well and hanging in there....

How many of you will be on best rest for a few days after ET?
TTYL,

Donna

Hi ladies~

I wanted to check in real quick before I become a couch potatoe. I am a little bummed. My E2 is so high that the RE didn't want to transfer the high quality embies because I have a lower chance of pregnancy. So....they transfered 2 Good to fair embies and 1 Fair embie that was grainular. He said if any of these make it, they will be very strong to survive since I don't have an ideal environment. I wish they would have told me before going.

Oh well. He said he would have rather transfered these ones instead of tossing them and that we could do a frozen transfer possibly next cycle. He will send me a report of the ones they freeze but they are all better quality than what they transfered today and he sd they will probably freeze 7-8 of them. They are supposed to email me a picture of the ones they tranfered. I will post when I get it.

Everyone else - grow follies, grow!

Hey there from couch/bed potato-land!!!

My cheeks are getting sore from the progesterone shots and it doesn't help that I've been laying down for the past 29 hours.

The 2ww is going to drive me insane, I want to know now if this process worked.....argh.

Any suggestions on how to pass the time without losing my mind?

Donnell - the good thing is that you have high quality embies bummer about your E2 level but if those embies stick they are strong and determined. Can't wait to see the pics of those frozen -- wish my DR had electronic copies. We just have printouts of those transferred and put them up on the refrigerator. :-)

Kelly & KD -- how are you doing?

Nerms & Donna -- good luck with the ER's next week! Keep us posted.

Love - any update on the ER date?

Michelle/Christie/Becky/Etc... hope all is well. Send an update when you can.

Wishing everyone lots of sticky baby dust -- thinking and praying for all of you.

I am doing fine thanks for asking. Transfer was 2 days ago, I have bw tomorrow, then pregnancy test on the 29th. I am trying not to drive myself crazy, researching about fragmentation, non "perfect embryos" and chances of pregnancy. Last year everything went fine, first hcg was low, but was a "pregnancy", but didn't last. I am truly trying to just keep myself occupied and not think about it all and hopefully it will all fall in to place. This board is a blessing............................so even though I may not be as active on here as some of you, I thank you for all of your words of encouragement, wisdom, and love for life...................

KD and Lisa- I know EXACTLY what you mean about the wait. I have been doing the same as you and searching the net, did you find the site twoweekwait.com? I started looking at that.

I am praying for some kind of symptom soon, although I realize it's probably too early for that. I keep telling my dh I wish I would just get sick already!

I get tested on the 26th- so i'm right ahead of you kd.

Donnell, I think you still have a good chance one will take! I had two frozen and that offers me a bit of relief that we can try once more. Hang in there! Rent some good movies give your self a pedicure/manicure, anything! i might go to get my haircut this morning just to take my mind off this wait!

Nerms, Good luck w/you trigger shot tonight! I think your stats look pretty darn good..just picture your little one :D Good luck w/ER too!

Hi Donna, I wasn't put on bedrest at all so I'm hoping that doesn't matter much. They told me to take it easy that day and that I could go back to work the day after ET. I did take the day after off though since I kept hearing everyone was on bedrest!

Love, did you have you ER yet?

Talk to you all soon

Hi ladies~ Well just wanted to thank all of you for your encouragement. I am looking at things with a much better prospective this morning. I have been given the chance to possibly conceive when I otherwise wouldn't have even had the opportunity. My cycle could have been cancelled because of OHSS. Not only that, but I have been blessed to have some good embies to freeze. Still waiting on pics of the transfered ones though. Now enough about me...

Kelly ~ Wow - the 26th. That is just right around the corner. Hang in there - you'll get your BFP soon! I am testing. I already started with $ tree tests. I wanted to make sure that my HCG trigger was out of my system. I was out pretty soon because I was drowing myself with liquids to ward off OHSS so I could have a fresh transfer. I will continue to test with the cheapies - but I will be OK with a negative.

KD ~ I hear you on trying to keep your mind off things. I agree - this board has been amazing. Try to take it easy, we are all here for you during this wait.

Lisa ~ My cheeks are also sore. It isn't as bad as I anticipated - but sore enough. I still haven't gotten my pics yet -I check my email every 10 minutes. I am having a horrible time at the bed rest thing.

Nerms ~ YAY - today is your HCG shot. What time do you take it? How exciting. Sounds like you got lots of follies in there brewing. Can't wait to hear about ET on Monday. Are you feeling swollen??? My tummy looked like I was 6 months PG at the end and right after ER.

Donna ~ Things are looking wonderful for you too. Did you go the RE yet this morning? Any more news on when you will trigger. I am thinking of you - hoping things go well today and you can trigger.

Love ~ Did you see your RE? What's the news? I hope all is well and they sd your follies are growing wonderfully. I haven't been able to sleep well since starting stims. I am just too anxious.

Michelle ~ Sorry to hear about your father. I hope he is doing better. I also had my sister in ICU a couple of days after I started stims. I asked my RE about the stress and he sd that my body is going to do what it is going to do and the added stress won't effect it. IUI and IVF are two totally different ball games. My first IUI I only produced 1 follie and my 2nd IUI - I produced 2 maybe 3.

Christie ~ Where have you been lady? I was also really worried about the progesterone shots. But they really haven't been that bad. I breath through them. My cheeks are getting a little sore but not too bad. When do you go in to the RE?

I am sorry if I missed anyone. I am thinking and praying for BFPs for us all. Have a great weekend!

~Donnell

Well ladies. I went to have my bw/us this morning. Of course, the tech wouldn't tell me anything. I waited all day and finally got the call. I really thought they were going to cancel my cycle. Well, it's the opposite. I take my hcg tonight! I can't believe it. I wasn't prepared for it. I did ask about my #'s. My estradiol is 865 and they want it over 500, so that's good. I have 3 follicles on the left and 6 on the right. I have no idea if that is good or bad. She also didn't know the size of them. Just that 2 are over 18mm. That is their criteria. I had my Repronex this morning, so maybe a few more will pop up :D My ER is at 10:30am on Mon. Then, I believe my ET will be on Thur. I'm so excited, but I feel like such a fool now. I had myself convinced they would call with bad news. I was a nervous wreck. Thank you everyone, for all your positive advice. I'm praying that we all get our BFPs.

The hcg shot is an intramuscular in the butt, right? I need to read my paperwork again. I better get used to it:) I informed my dh he'll be doing them for 18 days after the ET. He looked shocked.

Estradial and progesterone drawn today. Everything looks good, continue progesterone shots. I have a question for anyone who can answer. My DH will be out of town for a couple of days, so can I give my POI shot in my thigh? That needle is so darn long. The antagon shot was nothing, but this might be a little harder. So has anyone had to give their own POI shots? thanks ladies
oh, beta still scheduled for the 29th!! :? :? :?

Donnell, That's great, I wish they would have sent pictures to me, my office seems to do just the basics. I'm so glad they didn't cancel your cycle! Some of our prayers must be paying off! When did you say our get bw tested?

Christie and KD, your hcg shot should be in your thigh or stomach, which is a subcutanious injection and the the progesterone shots are the intramustcular ones in the butt. I was told I couldn't give the progesterone to myself but I know someone on one of the threads was giving them to themselves,, I think it was earlier on this thread... I would ask you dr. just in case to make sure you do everything correctly.
I'm so glad your cycle wasn't canceled either!!! That is awesome!

Steph, I hear you about the wait, it seems like forever! Blowing baby dust to you too!

Ingrid, Just wanted to let you know we're still thinking of you! Hoping your having a wonderful trip w/your dh! Hope to hear from you soon :D

Kelly, I wish you were right. I just read my instructions again and the hcg has to be intrasmuscular. I wonder why differnent doctors do it differently. Oh well. I might as well get used to it. I'm taking it in 45 min. I just watched the video again on how to do it. I'll let everyone know how it goes on Mon. Good luck to the other ladies having their ET this week too.

Hi Christie, hmm, maybe you have to use a different size needle and/or have to take a different amount than I did for the hcg.... I don't know...I guess that's why we all have so many papers they give us.. I hope it went ok!
