Just thought I would introduce myself. My dh and I have been ttc for almost 7 yrs, no success on our own. We did our first ivf/icsi cycle last year in July, got pg but had an early loss at almost 7 weeks. I have a history of endiometriosis, fibroids and polyps. I was on an aggressive protocal last time around but still didn't get many eggs, 13 in all, 9 ferilized, 4 made it to day 3 but not any good quality so we transfered 3 on day 3. From what mt Re says I look great on paper but when we actually do stimms it looks like premature ovarian failure.
Anyway, we are giving it another go here next month. I have started bcp sortly to follow with some lupron, follistem (450) and all the other good stuff.
I am very happy to have found a place that knows exactly what I am going through.

I am also doing IVF (1st attempt) in October, I am starting Lupron on Sunday..you have any side effects from it your first time around? I have been on the stims several times but not Lupron. I am also glad there's a place for all us to come going through all this!!! Do you have your estimated ET? Mine's Oct. 19-21 if all goes well

I actually didn't take lupron last time, it was ganirelex. My Re has changed it up a bit this time. I am looking at the last week of October right now. i see my Re on 10/1 to work out all the details. Best wishes to you and a BFP!

i too would like to introduce myself. i am 34, DH:48, married for 11 years, but TTC bor 9 years. had around twelve failed IUI's, finally picked up courage to go for IVF's, but even here have been a failure. first three IVF's no pregnancy, third cycle-a BFP, but a very short lived one, m/c after 4 weeks post transfer. RE has now asked me to go for D&C which has been scheduled for 24th sep. and then wait for two months and try naturally after which am to go for fourth cycle in either nov or dec. but hoping for pregnancy before then.
i would like to know if D&C is very painful or what?
So, when you did the IVF's prior, did they collect a good amount of eggs? And, it sounds like they fertilized right? Just not implanting huh?
Does your RE think endometrious (sp)?
I have never had a d&c, so can not answer. But, wanted to say hi.
