Ask Dr. to move Beta up?

Hi ladies,

Although I know it is early, I just wanted to share my good news. Yesterday at 5dp5dt I got a really light positive on HPT. I took a digital this morning and it definitely says pregnant! My beta is not set until 9/28/07...Do you think I could ask them to move it up???

Lindsey_08-- This is exactly what happened to me. I tested HPT + on 5dp5dt. My RE bumped my beta up by 2 days (tested on 12 day old embies) and my beta was 280. Tested again today (my original test date and 14 day old embies). I'll know the result tomorrow.

Could be multiples if you are showing this early (at least that is my RE's position with my 280 beta). It should be around 560 today (which is technically 1st beta). How many did you transfer? Did you do a 3dt or 5dt?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! Once I received my BFP on the HPT, I continued to POAS like crazy just to see the progression in the dark lines. Crazy, but then again, so am I (at least on this subject).

Thanks for the information and Congratulations on your BFP too! We did a day 5 transfer of 2 Grade AA Blasts. Let me know how your other test goes....Are you hoping for twins? Since I got the digital + I haven't done anymore but I can't stop looking at it. I even took a picture of it for my blog....lol Anyway I think I will call the office in the morning and see if they would mind moving it up.

I did a 5dt of 3 perfect expanded blasts (we were very aggressive). I am definitely hoping for twins and my RE says that based on the beta and early BFP, he is very confident it is multiples). Of course, only the US will verify. It could go either way. There are cases where really high beta #s are only singletons and it is possible I might have triplets too. I'm very curious to see what my beta from today looks like. If it is OVER the expected 560 (double 280 from my early beta), then I won't know what to think. Healthy is the first priority.

Sounds like you could potentially have twins too with 2 perfect blasts and an early HPT +. Keep me posted on your beta.

I got a BFP 5DP6DT and they let me have my beta on 7DPT. My first beta was 117. I'm currently 7weeks 3days
