spotting after pap smear

I just left my RE and went back to my regular OBGYN last week as I am now 11 weeks. He gave me a pap smear and pelvic exam and said that I may spot red or pinkish for a day and to not be worried. The next day I spotted brown. Not when I wiped but on my pantyliner. Is this okay? I wanted to call the office but i don't want to be labeled a worrier just yet. Is it normal to give a pap smear during pregnancy?

hey I had a pap smear at 12 weeks, I think it is normal to spot after the exam, because of some blood vessels that are too close down there.

no prob, as long as it is not heavy flow you know, u should be fine, you won't have anything at all by tomorrow.
