June 2008 Babies Thread

I was digging around and noticed there is not a June thread yet. Thought I would start......It looks like I will be due on 6/4/08.

I'm due June 5. 2008 (of course, if I have more than 1, they may come earlier). 16 more days until my ultra sound to know for sure -- driving me insane!

I had my transfer on September 15th. I did an hpt last Thurs, Fri and Sat, and all three were negative. BUT, I did one yesterday and today, and they were both positive! I called the doctor to see if I can move my blood test up from Thursday! They haven't called back yet... Looks like my due date is June 2nd... My husband's birthday!

Congrats ready4baby! Sounds like an early BFP.

Well ladies, I'm in further shock. I received the results of my originally scheduled beta (9dp5dt) and it was 745.6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 days prior, when I tested early, it was 280. I expected it to double to about 560 (putting me closer to probably a twin beta). BUT, it nearly tripled in 2 days.

With a 745.6 as my 14 day beta (when most women do their first test), I am wondering if I have triplets now?!!!! OMG. I know that the HCG isn't always indicative and there are instances in which a high HCG doesn't necessarily mean multiples. But after implanting 3 perfect expanded blasts and with beta's this high, odds are definitely in favor of multiples per RE.

Anyone with twins/triplets with betas in this range? I'm so fn nervous/anxious at this point. Waiting for US is killing me.

Thanks for the congratulations! I have to admit, the only thing that helped me throught this 2ww is this message board! It's been very informational! My doctor moved my beta up from Thursday to tomorrow!

Looks like your having triplets babyb!!!! How exciting! You are a great success story! I have loved reading your posts! Question for you though... do you have a little tummy yet? I have gained 2.5 pounds, although I think it's too early to have gained weight. Does this mean I could be carrying twins?! I hope so!!!

One more question... could be TMI! Is anyone taking progesterone suppositories? I take 2 a day and it seems like they don't dissolve all the way. There are still pieces in there when I put the next one is... Is this ok?

ready4baby: No tummy yet (although hubby disagrees a bit). I am taking the vaginal caps and no, they don't dissolve completely (residue indeed). I have such mixed feelings about triplets. I'm reading that survival rates aren't the best (low birth weight, CP, etc.) It scares me tremendously. I don't think I can handle losing another child. It haunts me daily that my little girl isn't in my arms. I hope and pray that everything works out with this pregnancy and the health of my babies (however many). Good luck on your beta tomorrow and keep me posted.

Babyb: Please don't worry... Think of how many women have carried 6-7 babies successfully and they are all doing great now. I know it's hard not to think the worse, but I think your time has come, and you will be blessed with beautiful babies!

I am anxiously awaiting my phone call regarding my beta results! While I was there, I asked them to check my progesterone levels also, just to ease my mind! I will chime in as soon as I know!!!

Well....although I already knew...I got my official BFP today! My level was 427 and my 5d tr was the 17th. I am super excited to have the word "oficially"!

Are you ladies experiencing any symptoms yet? I thought it was to early (I am 4wk 3 days but my bbs hurt so bad and last night I was up for two hours ...so nauseous ....I never actually lost it but ick. We have our second beta on Monday and then my first scan is a week from then on 10/8. Hopefully all is well. Let me know how you all are doing!

Hi Girls,

I'm a little confused on what the beta numbers mean, the only thing my coordinator told me was mine was on the high side but not necessarily meaning multiples yet... I had the first one on the 26th and it was 177 and the second one of the 28th which went up to 478.... My ER was on 9/13 and ET on 9/18....

Does anyone think this could be multiples? I don't go back in until Oct. 9th for my first ultrasound and more bw and they will look for a sac in my uterus...

Kelly - I am also confused with the beta numbers. I saw one post that said she was having triplets and her beta was only 512, mine was 556! When I received my beta numbers, I asked the doctor if that was high, and did that mean multiples? She said not necessarily. My 2nd beta was only 1169. So, maybe the numbers have to more than double to indicate multiples?

Everyone seems to be getting their scans early. Mine isn't scheduled until the 17th. I am dying to find out! I hope Woodcliff is right

Lindsey- I was so worried about you! You hadn't posted in a few days! Glad to see your back! My boobs are sore too! It's hard to sleep at night, I usually get up around 4, and watch tv until I fall back asleep. I have been feeling a little nauseous also, but not yet sick. My pants are getting a little tight though
