Yarnista... you have to cut and paste the ticker thread into your BBCode line to get it to work. Just make sure you read all the site lines they provide at the end to choose the BBC line. Also, you may have to remove some of your signature to make enough room for your ticker.

SO...?!?! if you don't sleep you don't sleep... you definately have something to be excited about!!! Also, the exhaustion will sink in at about 6 weeks so live it up at night with good movies, good company and some good baby planning before you can't think anymore  !

Love ya,

Cocoa

Welcome Yarnista! And congratulations on the news of the twins!! I was sooo excited when I saw the 2 little sacs on the scan!! I think it's just about sunk in now!!

I'm still wiped out with the tiredness and MS. And my heartbeat still goes through the roof whenever I do anything. I barely need to scratch my nose and it's racing.

Cocoa thanks for the reassurance. It's nice to know other people have had some similar symptoms. I have to go back to the hospital on Wednesday for some tests so they can rule out hyperthyroidism. But I'm sure it's nothing.

I'm meant to be going out tomorrow night to my Sister's 30th birthday party. My DH is saying no way can I go. But I feel I have to go as it's her 30th, even if I only stay for an hour or so. He is worried that I'm still really tired and need to rest, that my health and the babies are the most important thing. He is right of course but I don't want to let my sister down.

Anyway love to all, hope everyone is well.

Hi Guys,
I see that a lot of us are having some hard times. I am really sorry to hear that.
Lisa and Hayley,
I hope you guys are feelig better, i am thinking about you.
Cocoa and Woodcliff, welcome to the MS club, it is no fun, but we have no choice. Hopefully , our babies will stop being picky eaters pretty soon, so mummies don't have to throw up every day!!!
I am too sleeping a lot, but , hey, i am on bed rest, what else can to do?
The thing that worries me is that i am not putting on any weight at all, i actulaay lost some and i really can not afford it with my frame ( i am 5'10 and wear size 2 or 4 , nowadays it is more like 2 because of MS). I want my baby to grow and get a lot of nutrients but how can that happen if i can't keep anything down?
Oh well....
Good luck to all of us!!!!
Vlada :)

Hi everyone,

Vlada, glad to hear from you honey and hope you're doing as well as can be. Don't worry about the weight at this stage - your baby will take what he/she needs. I haven't put any weight on yet either, in fact I'm worried how I'm going to manage with twins as I'm only quite petite.

I'm just back from the clinic and am v v happy as the blood clot hasn't got any bigger - in fact it looks like It's slowly starting to get smaller and move away from the twins. Still hard to see whether twin B was attached BUT he/she has a heart beat of 188 so it's a strong little thing. Doctor told me that Bed rest was now up to me which makes it difficult as I have now had 2 weeks off work. Thinking of going in for a few hours a day and seeing how it goes. Would love to quit but am on a visa so if I do - we get deported!!

Yarnista, welcome to the twins club!! glad to have you on board. How many weeks are you?

Cocoa, WC, Hayley, Lisa, Aliann and everyone else I've missed take care and have a good weekend.

love to all, Rebecca

OK Ladies... these hormones have had their way with me and I'm freakin' out... I can't help but keep worrying that my babies HBs will stop (or have stopped) suddenly. When I am not suffering with my M/S too much I think that my babies are gone. WHAT'S wrong with me??!! My sister had a miscarriage between her first and second son and the way she described it was that she "felt great" and had no more symptoms and after that she found that her baby had no HB and this is just haunting me... I keep replaying my last U/S from last Monday but the dr never tells me the heart rate and I am so stupid I didn't ask!!! So I don't know if they both "looked great". I have an appt with my ob/gyn - who delivers twins A LOT - on Monday but I still keep thinking "what if I'm not pregnant anymore?" WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!?!?? Right now I feel sick and had to throw up earlier to get some relief but... OMG what is WRONG with me?!?! Can someone tell me I'm not crazy or am I too crazy for anyone to say that?

Sorry for all the focus on me... I know its the hormones...

Love you all,

Cocoa

Cocoa: Don't apologize for focusing on you. You have spent so much of your time focusing on others that I think it is fair to redirect the energy for a moment. I do believe you are suffering from the hormones a bit -- they really can F&*#$! with you! If you weren't advised on any issues re: HBs in your last US, then I can't imagine any problem was detected.

With my first natural pregnancy, I never even thought about a MC or other problems. Now, after going through 2 very rare, completely unrelated and fatal diseases with my beloved daughter, I'm a nervous wreck myself. I havent' felt any real PG symptoms other than a few stretching sensations in my uterus and SEVERE fatigue. I guess I shouldn't be complaining -- I'd love to avoid MS (probably just too soon for it).

Notwithstanding our worries, what our babies need now more than anything else is a lot of positive thinking by their moms. Maintaining a stress free life is critical -- particularly at this stage. Have you thought about meditating, doing yoga, pilates, etc?

Please don't let your sister's unfortunate tragedy impact your PG. Remember, we can't make an embryo stick around if it isn't meant to be here, but we CAN keep a healthy embie around by staying positive, strong and calm.

Thanks girls... You guys helped a lot just because you are there.

You know, I have no thyroid and the RE had changed my protocol for 2 weeks but I don't know why because my levels were in the norm range. For some reason she wanted my TSH higher which I read DOESN'T MATTER in pregnancy - it's the T3, free throxine that matters - which were normal. SO... I got concerned about that and its effect on my babies. I did have the U/S at the end of that 2 weeks and saw both HBs, BUT I had already started BACK on my other protocol because I was getting dry skin etc (the stuff that starts to come with hypo-thyroid). Sheesh... the crap you go through AND remember ladies... YOU have to keep charge of your OWN health. If you think something is not right CHECK IT OUT and don't take no for an answer.

So is anyone feeling a flutter at times? Every now and again (maybe 3 times in the last 2 days) I feel a floop which I KNOW is NOT in my digestive system and I think it may be the babies move. I mean there are two so they take up as much room as one 15 week baby right? So they are close to the outer edges of the uterus so maybe it IS them moving... Maybe that's God's way of telling me they're OK. Any thougts? Feel a little funny asking this cause I'm SURE a doc would say no way but what do THEY know about my body right?!

Love you guys... thanks so much for all your love,

Cocoa

Hello Ladies,

I am just curious, when did M/S start for all of you? I am 6 1/2 weeks and feel a bit nauseous at times, but no actual throwing up yet. Yesterday I thought I was about to throw up, but suppressed it. I would welcome it at this point, but am sure I will regret that if it comes.

Thanks so much!!!!! I love this thread!

:-) Michelle

Also, do you need to paste in your ticker every time or does it "appear" once you paste it in once?

Thanks Woodcliff. I don't want M/S that badly!!!! I am getting excited. I feel like I am leaping over hurdles. Each one I cross allows me to breathe a bit easier!
I love this board!
