Hi everyone,

I just started my Lupron injections yesterday morning. I have to say that so many say that the shots are not big deal and I totally agree ......except for the first time. It took me almost an hour to get up the courage. I know I am a big baby but...hey I did it in the end. This morning it only took me a couple of minutes and the whole thing was over. Anyway, I have pcos and DH has low count, motility and poor morphology....so IVF/ICSI is really our only hope at the moment. Good luck to everyone else who has already started their cycles.

Everyone talks about mock transfers...does every dr. do this? My doctor has never mentioned this even though we just started our first IVF cycle.

I don't know, but this procedure the same like embrio transfer(it doesn't have embrio in the syringe or i don't know the medical term for that tool))))))
I've seen another RE for second opinion(another state) in the beggining and they have mock transfer too.

Hello all my old cycle buddies! Good news! Our twins are here. They we're born on Sept. 10th. Ryden was first born at 2:30 pm weighing 4lbs 13oz and Hendrix was next at 2:32 pm weighing a whopping 5lbs 10oz. They had to stay in the NICU for 6 days as a precaution because they are premies born at 35 wks. Still they had no health problems. They were put on antibiotics as a precaution and by the 3rd day we demanded that they be taken off antibiotics and I be allowed to breastfeed which they agreed to even though it's against the hospital policy to allow premies to be breastfed that early (stupid, I Know). Anyway they are 2 weeks and 3 days old now and after some normal weight loss, they are above their birthweight and thriving. :)

Wannababy, Congrats on your little girl! I know it was awhile ago. I hadn't been doing much reading and posting the past couple of months. How is motherhood treating you?

How is everyone else doing? myhb? Emily? I thinking of you hope all is ok.

Congrats Hopeful! I love the names you have chosen. I hope you and your babies are doing well!

Welcome Bean and congrats to Lindsay! Pregnancy is an exciting journey!

I hope all of my cycle buddies are doign well with motherhood. I know that we are all certainly busy being new mommies!

Today I had taken Olivia to get her shots done! Poor baby screamed and cried something awful. She is going to be crabby for the next 72 hours :(

I know its hard to post with all of our new responsibilities, but it is great to hear from each of you. Drop a line or two whenever possible.

Take good care!
