Nerms, good luck tomorrow. I'm sure they'll have good news for you. Go shopping. That always helps. Let us know what happens.

I ended up going out to dinner last night. I asked my nurse what I could and couldn't do. She said they still believe in chair rest, but they will probably eliminate that at some point. A lot of clinics don't even do chair rest anymore. I think it's a reason to stay home and relax. She was more concerned about me being stress free. I asked about going out to dinner and she said that was fine, so we did. It was very relaxing. I'm going to dinner again tonight with the girls. I'm going to gain 20 lbs. before I'm even pregnant :) It is so hard for me to sit still and lay around all day. I work from home, so I'm usually on my couch on the laptop anyways.

Has anyone else had any pain after the ET? I'm not in bad pain or anything like that, but I felt like someone was sticking me with a needle all around my stomach yesterday. I haven't noticed it as much today. I thought I would have cramping, but I haven't had any. I keep looking at my picture of my embryos. I have no idea what I'm looking at exactly, but every so often, I have to look.

Hi girls, wow , I'm glad your ET went well Christie and Donna, good luck on the wait, it's torture! my most annoying thing after that was constipation and gas....I didn't do a hpt either and I was really going nuts before they called me..

In fact just last night my stomach was hurting so bad it felt like it was going to explode! I was crampy down low on my belly too, that was at like 2a.m. and after that I felt fine. Strange. I'm waiting in my second test call from the this morning to see if my levels have risen...

Good luck tomorrow Nerms, I have a good feeling for you tomorrow!! Keep relaxed and think baby thoughts!

Good luck tomorrow Melanie. I can't wait to hear how many eggs they got.

Who is testing next? I can't remember. I swear I have no brain left. Just trying to remember which meds I've taken and when to take them, etc. is exhausting. I'm sure you can all relate.

Hi Ladies, :D

Hi melanie, wow, your almost there .... good luck tomorrow!!! ... let us know how many they get :D

Hi Keddie, Sorry to hear you're not felling very well  .... good luck today!!!

My ER yesterday really kicked my butt ..... (I didn't react well to the anesthesia) ... I'm feeling much better today though ..... My RE got 10 follicles and he told me while we were still there that 8 of them contained eggs!!! (Yippee!!!!) .... I got the call from my RE this morning and he told me of the 8 eggs that 5 of them fertilized and they look very good ... I will be having the PGD test which will be done on day 3 ... my RE wants to do the ET on day 5 .... I hope and pray that I have at least 1 that makes it through all of this ... I will also be having acupuncture before and after the ET (my acupuncturist is located across the hall from where my ET will be done) ... oh, and I will not be doing the progesterone shots ... since the ER I have been taking crinone (progesterone gel) and then after my ET I will add to that Estadiol

Welcome out to the newbies and I wish all the other ladies all the best ... I gotta go get something for dinner .... I'll try to catch up and read how everyone else is doing

Sending some baby dust out to everyone!!! Image

Hugs,
Love

Kelly, did you get the results yet?

KD, good luck tomorrow. I just re-read a few pages back that you go in tomorrow for your test. I'm crossing my fingers and toes for you. We need another BFP on this thread. Can't wait to hear.

I'm pregnant!!!!! Boy, those are words I never thought I would get to say! Now we just have to make it through the next 9 months, and then the rest of their little lives :)

I wasn't supposed to get my results until tomorrow from my second beta. They called me with my first beta though and it was 147. Don't know if it's twins, but that would be all right by me :) I am totally stoked, but kind of in disbelief right now. Trying to let it sink in. It's been years since I even considered the possibility.

I hope that everyone is else is doing well, or continuing to fight the good fight. Good luck to the rest of you and thank you so much for all of your support. I've never been a big fan of the online chatting, but this was a great experience and I'm glad I found you all. It's made all the difference.

Thank you for the GOOD Luck. I am so anxious and moody just waiting til tomorrow, pretty unbearable to be around I am sure  I am hoping for the best. Trying very hard not to do a HPT. I had a 3dt and today is only 9 days since then, so very early for a HPT, but so tempting. My lower back is aching, I have heaviness in my lower pelvis and my bb's are tender, more so in the evenings. I have not had any spotting. One just never knows........................I will check in after tomorrow's results.

Best wishes to everyone, it is nice to be able to interact with so many people that can truly relate.

Nerms,
I'm sure you'll be getting your BFP with the rest of us in a couple of weeks. The quality of the embryos doesn't always mean as much as we think. Lots of women get pregnant with lower quality embryos. I'm feeling very positive too.

Misty,
Congratulations. That is such wonderful news. I'm so happy for you.

KD,
Can't wait to hear your result today. I'm praying that you are our 3rd BFP.

Hi ladies ~ I am so sorry that I have been terrible keeping up with the thread. Well..... I am the one who had a million eggs, but overstimmed, had extremely high E2 so they transferred the embies that couldn't survive freezing and thaw. Well.... I have 17 on ice, will get a full report some time next week on the quality of those. So I am very blessed. I am 8dp4dt (technically 12dpo) and I tested the trigger out and I have BFN's. I don't feel PG....so I am pretty much sure I am out this cycle. I spoke with the RE's office and they didn't have high hopes for me either given all of the circumstances and we are already talking about FET in the first few weeks of Nov. I still have to take the progesterone shots until my blood test Tuesday and this morning I cried when DH gave me the shot. I just want to go on.....I am OK though. So sorry to be a downer. I know...I will be the only one to get the BFN. All of you will be reporting your BFP's and can help me get through my FET!!! I just know it!

Donna ~ Increased discharge and cramping is great news. When you are in early PG, you form your mucus plug, which causes the increased discharge. So that is an excellent sign. Plus, cramping can mean that the little is burrowing deep in the lining. Looking good!

Nerms ~ Everything will be perfect. As Christie said, a lot of women get PG with imperfect embies. My friend did IVF and she is now PG with twin - both with fair quality embies.

KD ~ Good luck today. I am so excited. Can wait to read your BFP!

Misty ~ Congrats! I am so happy for you! I tear up everytime I read about a BFP. It gives me so much hope.

Love ~ Sorry ER kicked your butt. 5 embies fertilized...that is great! Good luck on the testing. Let us know how it goes. Hope you are feeling better.

carolinagirl~ Good luck on ET. I hope you are feeling well and can report soon.

Kelly ~ Congrats to you! I am so, so happy for you! I read your BFP while I was at work and couldn't post. But I got all teary eyed. Darn hormones....:)

Girls~ I am sorry if I missed some. I am terrible at personals. I am thinking of each and everyone of you. BFP's all around!

Hugs to all!

Donnell

Don't give up donnell! U can still get the bfp! If it doesn't happen this time, then u have lots of embabies frozen. Think positive! I am worried because I have some pains here and there in the lower front area and last night twice when I turned over in bed I felt like my lower front muscles pulled where it hurt. I am paranoid! Especially since my last ivf cycle was a bfn. I don't remember if I cramped during my first ivf.

Donnelln you are so lucky to have lots of embies! You will get that bfp!
