Swellings and rings!!

Post by KirstyC »

Hi everyone,

Sorry to bore you all with another silly post..

but I have just come back from the jewellers having had my wedding and engagement rings cut off!!

Basically my fingers have swollen up so much I couldn't for the life of me get them off!! We tried everything, butter , washing up liquid etc. My midwife said I had to remove them as my fingers will probably get even bigger!! (am 33 weeks)

I hadn't noticed my fingers were swelling up that much...

By the way any news on mags yet??

Lots of love
Kirsty
xxx

Hi Kirsty! What a shame having to have your rings cut like that! It's amazing what changes to our bodies go on isnt it? Hope you'll be able to have them mended and wear them again (later!!)

Jo. XX

Hi puffa fingers!!

Sorry you've had to have your rings cut off - better to do it now than leave it any later by the sounds of it.

I didn't realise how bad my fingers had got until dh and I went out and brought our weddings rings a couple of weeks ago. I was mortified - I need the same ring size as Tony at the moment!! I just hope they get back to normal after delivery and I will have my ring made smaller!

Hope you're doing well - we must catch up for a "chat" some time. Maybe one day next week??

take care,

Helen xx

So exiting two memorable moments round the corner!!
we MUST catch up properly soon..is the chat room working again now then? When suits you?

Lots of love
Kirsty
xx

PS Great news about Mags isn't it!!

To be honest I was saying to my DH yesterday that I have noticed my fingers swelling. Must keep an eye on them, and I best keep an eye on my feet with my toe ring being on there too. Can't believe the changes to our bodies.
I am 22wks 2d and I have put on a stone in weight.
Love
Shell.
xx
