Lala - How are you, dear? I think all around the world, the news of preg is announced after the first trimester...once the safe period begins. Here, in India, its mostly jinxed to buy any baby stuff before the baby is born. But now things are changing. There are people who get all the things done to welcome new life in their world like decorating the room and planning the whole wardrobe.

I am also waiting anxiously to do all that stuff.

Carolyn - Must be looking heavenly beautiful after all that pampering in the saloon... You deserved it!!!

I was pampered to the max yesterday and had a good girly night out last night - going to parents today for weekend so will just be good to get away - AF arrived this am in all her glory - was holding out that perhaps bloods got mixed up or one of the other miracles you hea- obviously just not meant to be this time

BFN for me ,ladies.

Stopped progesterone pessaries, waiting for AF. I don't know why but the IVF coordinator asked to do HPT tomorrow...may be she is also hoping for some miracle.

Decided to go in for FET cycle depending upon the sonography on my II day of period, proabably RE will skip the forthcoming cycle and hence it will happen in November.

ADVICE - Shall I take a break and visit Bahrain for a couple of months or continue with the treatment?

I am so sorry to hear the bad news. I do believe that it is good to give your body a physical and mental break for a while. A trip to Bahrain would be amazing. That would be a great way for you and DH to reconnect and for you to focus on other things for a bit.

sonu911 Dear...sorry it's sad news for you. Bahrain does sound like a good idea. Is DH going to be able to spend time with you while you are there. You both need to be pampered big time! I am a bit relieved though you do have some strong embies on ice so you don't have to go through the whole thing again. Please stay healthy and strong.

Carolyn I love your PMA! It's so strong and amazing! Thanks for staying in touch with us. It must be hard after the devastating news. I am glad though that you got a truck load of TLC. Keep that going.

Christin THat's fantastic news!!! TWINS! TWINS! TWINS! My oh my... you and your DH must be walking on cloud 9 x100! So you were able to see the little ones on the u/s. That's so neat! Did you see their heartbeats going? I am going in Monday....it may be twins for me too...cuz my beta has been quite high. Although I have been prepping myself that it may be twins, I think I will still be extremely shock if it really is TWINS! Will let you guys know on Monday.

Kelly How you doing? Scotland sounds like a fabulous place to visit. How's the weather there right now? I hope you get a lovely and restful vacation.

Sonu- I am again so so sorry to hear of your news. I think Bahrain sounds like a wonderful idea, isn't that where your husband will be? It will be good to get away and spend time away from IVF for a little while and then come back, relaxed and ready to put those beautiful embbies back in with their mom.

Lala- How far along are you now? I wonder how come my clinic doesn't see me again until my 7th week. I'm feeling left behind but only a few more days until it's my turn to see the little baby heartbeat. I hope it's twins for you as well

Carolyn- I'm glad you got "pampered to the max" yesterday you deserve every bit of it. I am going to Edinburgh Scotland, we have friends who have been living over there the last couple of years and we are finally getting a chance to go see them. I'm sure it will be cold and rainy there but it will be beautiful. I can't wait.

THANKS A LOT, FRIENDS!!!

AF showed its ugly face yesterday night itself, i.e 29th itself, my test date. How I wished for some miracle to happen but HE doesn't want me to be in any kind illusions. Quite soon HE let me face the reality, and I am thankful to HIM for this.

I did my best this time to make it work, now I don't know where to start again....what went wrong??!!!

SORRY for being in such a negative frame of mind...but at the moment I see very little hope.

Tomorrow I go to visit my RE, he is in Japan, he may come back tomorrow. It will be 3rd day of my AF.

Yes, Bahrain is the place where we lived for the past 8 years, we both(me and my DH) work there. I left my teaching job to get IVF done in India with our family. I have my closest friends, students there. They are waiting for me.

So I think I will take a break, visit Bahrain and come back with rejuvenated mind to put my kids back to where they belong... IN ME!!

It will be festival time there as Eid is near approaching...I will have enough time to spend with my DH. Before that I will visit my parents who live in Delhi and be with my sis who will have ER and ET somewhere during the same time. I am quite looking forward to it. I will keep you all posted with my iteneary (sp?)

LALA...It will be amazing if you also get the news of TWINS...

Hello Ladies...I have been following faithfully, just have been so nervous of things..not sure why I am feeling like this? It is so sad to hear Carolyn and Sonu, I pray for you each every day....I am so so sorry. You both must know that your time WILL come, and before you know it you will have a house full of babies running around.....I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason...

Christin, that is the most wonderful news ever! How unbelievably sweet for you both. Glad to hear everyone else seems to be doing rather well also!!

I finally got a second HCG which was a little lower than I had hoped at 469 - which was 18dp3dt - although I believe it is on schedule. I had a little boy naturally, and this is my second pregnancy, however I have this overwhelming feeling that perhaps I may lose the pregnancy..and I just not certain how I could handle that....that is why I am staying back...I don't want to bring anyone down! Although the last couple of days have been much better..and I will be happy when I go in for my 1st ultrasound next week.

Oh - and ladies...I accidentally, FORGOT to change the needle on my PIO shot, and DH gave me the shot with the big needle...I WILL NEVER EVER DO THAT AGAIN EVER - please ladies...do not make the same mistake.

I personally want to apologise to u, I was wondering why u didn't address me in your last post...though its not necessay everytime. I realised that I have not mentioned you in my post.

You know that I didn't mean it...the knid of rollercoaster we are in...anything and everything can hurt our feelings...and we can be sensitive about just anything.

Did uou meet ur RE?? What are ur plans?

I am just leaving to meet my doc. I am still in dilemma...to stay back and get the FET done in Nov itself or to take a break. Body clock is also ticking...I will be 34 in NOV.

I went to my RE, he strongly suggested a break for a couple of months. Well, like DEX mine is also unexplained infertility, no implantation.
Nevrmind, my time will also come, very soon

So I am travelling first to meet my mom and then to mu hubby!!

I think its a good idea to have some time off as you have had cycles quite close it seems - and you ares till a spring chicken - 34 next birthday - so jealous I will be 39 next month

Carolyn - I was feeling rather kiddish after posting that msg. You are right, its our hormones....must say they are quite charged up. These days I can drop a tear with a blink of an eye...otherwise I am known to be quite strong.

My birthday is November 9. You don't need to join another thread...well, u can if u want to...but just to remind you, u have friends here too.

I am worried about you. Why do you feel this way? Please get the bad thoughts out of your mind. You will be fine. You have to stay positive. What day is your U/S on? How far along are you right now?

I can't believe your clinic makes you wait so long. That is torture. I wonder if it is bc I am in a small little town that things are done a bit differently? That is probably the case. You live in a big city, so clincs are probably very full over there. Just think about it this way, when you finally get the picture of your baby, you will be able to see a real baby, not just the little bity sacs that I have seen. You get to see the real thing!!!

Update
I have noticed some discharge over the last couple of days. I have read that it is normal, but it concerns me. I don't hurt or anything. In fact, the OHSS is getting so much better. When we started treatment, I weighted 127lbs. My highest weight bc of OHSS was aroune 145lbs. I am down to 135lbs right now!!! I am so excited. I feel so much better. I would love to loose another 5lbs of fluid before I start gaining the baby weight so that I don't get too large. I am just over 5'1". I am a shorty, so twin pregnancy weight is going to be comical on my short self...LOL.

I go back again on Friday to see our baby again! I get so nervous about the development of the babies. I want both of them to grow perfectly. So we get to see the development then. I don't think we will see heartbeats yet bc that will only be 6 weeks. I think it is around week 7 that you see hearbeats.
